The only blind people are. the ones who do not believe in God because they do not want to see the truth!

There are Spiritually blind people.
They try to see Spiritual things with natural minds.
They are the ones who need proof, they have no faith.
We are spiritually blind until we receive the Holy Spirit, only the Holy Spirit reveals the Truth.
We walk by faith, not by sight.

There blind because they follow not the spirit of God, but some ideology's and dogma,religion can blind a person but the holy spirit will open there eyes if they will but ask of it and listen for the answers

Dear afw,
In the Bible, depending on the context, the "blind" refers to people who are in spiritual blindness not physical blindness. The Pharisees were constantly seeking to destroy Jesus (God). They did not "see" that here was God Almighty standing before them and yet they tried to confuse or outwit God!
Today there are many teachers who are actually 'blind guides leading the blind.' We must come very humbly before the Lord and His word-the Bible.
