Are you going to ask God to do something? Does that mean you don't like the way he's doing it now?

Please explain prayer in a way that isn't god defeating. (note I am not asking out of anger, but out of confusing)
1. If god is omnipotent/omnipresent, possesser of all knowledge then it already knows the action it is going to take right, an all knowing being never had to change its mind because it has all information needed to make the proper decision. So how is your prayer going to change what god should have already known it was going to do.
If the above statement is true, god already knows and has the best information already to make gods decision, then if prayer works could that mean you have altered gods decision, told something to god that it didn't know, or maybe just maybe if it worked it was your power and not gods.

As a Christian I know that God is ineffable which means that know one can no Him. Atheists sort of live by that. I think that Atheists are blessed by God and don't know it or don't care to know it and that's O.K. Atheists believe that God doesn't exist and that is far better than a Christian who thinks he knows God yet, fails to live by His Word.
Praying for Atheists isn't necessary because they live by the Truth. They don't realize it but, God is Truth. He is not the sickophant religious mind trap that the world tries to dictate.
I guess as long as you pagans don't worship satan or evil upon the world, you'll be O.K. God forgives anything but that.

Actually the prayer is nice, but I know you Christians like to send money to preachers when they ask for prayer.
Could you all send me a 10 spot. If I get to $340,000 I promise to repent and ask for salvation. I will then send $34,000 to the televangelist of your choice.

Would everybody like to share a bullet with all the Christians of the world?
A parallel to what you're saying to us, essentially.

I would prefer you not pray for me. If you believe that prayer actually does anything, I'd prefer you pray for the genocide in Darfur to end.

Do you really think God will force us to convert if you pray and ask him to?
That kinda defies the point of free will, doesn't it.....
Or God's plan.... What about his plan? Are you arrogant enough to think that your tiny little meaningless prayer is going to change God's plan?

You don't need to pray for Athiests...that is their belief. People are entitled to their belief and believe it or not there are people out there that are athiest that live a perfectly nice life and are happy.
