Well thanks a lot. So YOU are the one that's making them think there's someone in the world who hasn't heard. Next time they call round here, I'm sending them on to you.

When Jehovah's Witnesses go door to door, we assume most people today, even in other countries, know who Jesus is. So no we would never say "Have you ever heard of Jesus?"
Now there are a lot of people that do not know that God's name is Jehovah. Ps. 83: 18 So we may ask them if they know what God's name is.
One thing you will notice, Jehovah's Witnesses do not go around saying "Praise the Lord" " God Bless" "Thank you Jesus" etc... Our message is not about an outward show of spirituality, but about the good news of God's Kingdom and what it will do for mankind. Matt. 24: 14 We strive to live our lives according to the bible, in dress, speech, attitudes and conduct.

When we go from door to door we don't say "Have you ever heard of Jesus?"
Anyway, it is obvious that the answer to the question is 'yes'. Who didn't hear about God's son, about his sacrifice?
Jesus is a well known character all around the world.
"But the birth of Jesus Christ was in this way. During the time his mother Mary was promised in marriage to Joseph, she was found to be pregnant by holy spirit before they were united." -- Matthew 1:18
"And Jesus called with a loud voice and said: “Father, into your hands I entrust my spirit.” When he had said this, he expired." -- Luke 23:46
Jesus used to preach. He said to his disciples to do the same thing. That's why we go from door to door.
"From that time on Jesus commenced preaching and saying: “Repent, YOU people, for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.” -- Matthew 4:17
"Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit." -- Matthew 28:19
"And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come." -- Matthew 24:14 45

I wouldn't know since neither I nor anyone I know, as far as I know, have EVER asked that question when going from door to door.
As for the response, I have gotten a wide variety of replies though most are much more reasonable than the ones some people on Y!A claim to use.

Yup, just not in America. The JW's preach in over a hundred different countries, and they are a religious minority in all of them.
Christian missionaries in India, China, South-east Asia, and Africa probably DO get this response once in a while.

I say:
"why yes, he is my rich neighbors gardener, he works 2 doors down, you should see him work the lawnmower, and his green thumb. Why just last spring he saved a rosebush from certain death, it was a miracle."
