Church hypocrisy as usual?
It talks about Archbishop John Setanu and its actually Archbishop John Sentamu and everyone that answered naturally presumed he was a Catholic Priest, but he is a Church of England Priest

With birth order being the strongest predictor of homosexuality, should religious women of faiths where homosexuality is opposed only have one child? This follows more closely on the recent comments by someone in the USA saying that it's justifiable to have a scientific treatment for homosexuality in the womb. Should all bases be covered in a way?

This is not an anti-homosexual rant and I do not wish to hear it, just the answer to my question in an intelligent way thank you.

Isn't it awe-inspiring or overwhelming when we discover the truth for ourselves? Take the example of Jesus' disciples...

At first they didn't really believe in him, but as Jesus spends more time in company with them, their eyes were "opened" and they see things for what they truly are... some of them were even tax collectors (considered sinners back then) and they changed their lives drastically after discovering the truth for themselves.

How could humanity be so blind to their surroundings? Or turn a blind-eye? Can we handle the truth?

What if "God" is actually an advanced race of people that were mistaken for gods,because thier advanced technology could not be understood by the primitive people who first witnessed it, and who's job it was to explain to the rest of us ,what they experienced.What if they were trying to tell us ,but lacked the verbage...I.E life from dust (genetic biology) ...flying chariots (spacecraft)..big giant men swallowing whales ( submarines)....bushes that burn without burning( A spotlight)

Ok, before I pose this. A few rules PLEASE.
If you're a blind faith believer and will NOT open your mind to ANY other possibilities, PLEASE, don't answer. This is a serious question. No Flames and No, "I believe because I know in my heart...blah blah blah.

Is it NOT possible that Jesus was not just an amazing magician and doctor of his time? We know he performed "Miracles" and "healed" people.

I mean, let's be honest, I'm BLOWN away by David Blaine these days. Imagine if David Blaine was around back then or anyone with that talent, they could've claimed to be the Son of God if they wanted to.
Once you get their attention, that's all it takes...and both David and Jesus were apparently good at getting attention.

Again, just open your mind. Even if you refuse to consider it, consider this. What if no one EVER believed? Though there would still be wars, would they be as bloody? Would COUNLTESS people have died for something that NO ONE can prove is true?

I see Archbishop John Setanu isn't happy with Blair's regret over Britain's involvment in slavery but thinks there should be a full public apology. Perhaps he would like to apologise, on the church's behalf, for burning protestants in the 16th century, or for the torture and killing of many protestants by the spanish inquisition and more recently for the many acts of paedophilia committed by priests.

I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Darwinian thinker. But I find really devout Christian girls very arousing. I think it's the repressed desires thing. And the forbidden fruit thing. My parents would have a screaming fit if I brought home a Creationist. Anyone else?
