This is for my literature class. This is suppose to be the easiest question, but I cannot find the freaking answer! The question is: Why are the knights searching for the Holy Grail? I have all of the other answers; I don't know if I keep reading over it or what. Any helpful information is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I know what I believe, but I don't really know what everyone else thinks that much. What do you believe about the mark of the beast and the seal of God, and what that has to do with the 7 last plagues mentioned in Revelation 15?

Faith is illogical.

As a schizophrenic I have to be extra careful not to do or believe in something illogical.

Therefore, I am in a horrible dilemma:

Choose illogical faith---->possibly be sane and holy for the other part of eternity

Stand on gaurd against illogic----> Be sane in this life and not a threat to human beings

I have to choose between doing the will of a God I cannot see or protecting the humans that are already a part of my life.

Did Jesus have my dilemma in mind when he was sweating blood in the garden? I wonder.

Say your happily married, and a decent looking man makes an indecent proposal to you and your husband. (simular to the movie) Here are they rules he gives you.

He gets have sex with you as much as he wants, any way he wants for one day.
No condoms ( you both have to pass STD tests.)
No pulling out
Oral sex too.

The next day you go back home with 10 milllion cash! and you never see him again.

Ladies would you do it?

Well let me ask you a few questions. Just say i bring a machinary in front of you that no one has ever seen before and i ask you who knows the function of this machine. You would obviously say the manufacturer or the maker or the creator or the inventor etc. So how do you think the world came out, or the universe and all the nature. If it just came out of no where how can it be so perfect. Okay moving on, the study of embryology right now has just been discovered recently that is about a hundred years ago. But who do you think told about the development of an embryo before 1400 years ago in the Holy Qura'an, obviously the Creator (GOD). Next point, it was only before like 500 years or so people started to admit that the world is spherical in size but then the Quran said

Enough "You're stupid" from both sides. I want an honest interpretation of this:

- We've found simple organisms 2 billion years old

- We've found multi-cellular organisms 1 billion years old

- We've found simple animal life that is 600 million years old

- We've found land plants and fish that are 500 million years old

- We've found anphibians that are 350 million years old

- We've found reptiles that are 300 million years old

- We've found mammels that are 200 million years old

- We've found birds that are 150 million years old

- We've found ape-like species that are 5 million years old

- We've found ape-like w/ human features species that are 4 million years old

- We've found half ape/half human species that are 3 million years old

- We've found mostly human w/ some ape features that are 2 million years old...

HONESTLY - WHAT IS YOUR INTERPRETATION OF THIS EVIDENCE?

There are so many religions out there. I don't know which one it is, I think it's Hinduism, that has millions of gods! So why only try to pick on the Christian god? And plus, you set here and talk about hateful, mean, Christian hyppocrites. Name me any race, organization, or country, and I bet you my life I could pick out some spoiled seeds. So why do you guys generalize so much? And don't even say that we do too, and just don't want to admit it, because it goes both ways, and I'll admit that.
Am I making a point here, or am I just another stupid Christian giving intellegent atheists something to scoff at?

see like my previous questions i asked about the abuse of islam. Many of the people said so much of rubbish about Islam liek wife beating. Islam is the relegion that gives the best of rights to women than any other relegion. Its the jews who are taking away the lands of the palestinians. At the end of the day palestinians are called suicide bombers. Why? just for defending their family and land? where did homosexuality come into Islam. where did marrying 4 year old girls come into Islam. Total rubbish. Prophet Muhammed was only engaged to aysha when she was 10 year old NOT married. Why only Islam? Why the muslims? and im sure atleast one of you will point out about terrorism, even though i meantioned why judge a nation by its people

i have put this question on once but feel i need to add more detail. he is 9 years old and has always beleived in god as do many other members of my family. we sent him to catholic school so he could get a view other than ours. he is very bright for his own age and does believe in god. we accept what he believes and he accepts our views. we are not gay as some people have assumed and are man and woman. also we are not forcing our views on him as some people seem to think. we just want to clarify if he can become a catholic as we are not. we have previously been told we would also have to accept god which we can not do. i feel this should not have an affect on his choice. we would still support him. sorry so long but some people got wrong end of stick i think

Some lady my wife works with says she follows "Huna" teachings. I read a lot about different religions and msytical teachings, etc., but I'm not familiar with this. She keeps doing some kind of unusal gestures, waving her hands in the air, and acting like she's in a trance. She does this when she's alone and stops if she knows somebody else is watching her. She also carries "crystals" (like some new age people have). Do the hand gestures, "trances", and crystals have anything to do with Huna teachings? I looked up some things about it on the Internet but I couldn't find anything about particular rituals or meditation practices in Huna.

Do people of your religion exhibit more love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23) than people of other religions?

If in general the people of your religion do not have greater fruits than those of other religions, then what makes it superior?

Thanks for sharing any thoughts you have.

This is just for the sake of knowing. I am a "baby" Christian, who rescently came back to her faith. While I have always been raised in cultural christianity, it wasn't until I made a point to study the books of the bible with fellow christians, that I learned that Christianity is not about religion, or the traditions of man. Infact Jesus did not approve of excluding and reducing others to "traditions" and hating them for no other reason than they are different. I just wondered what other people's opinions on this were.
