Dear angella,
I know that you will get many answers to your question. But let's see what the Bible states?
We read in 1 John 3:8, "He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil."
This verse tells us that the devil has been around since the beginning of creation. But now let's go to 1 John 4:3.
We read, "And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come and even now already is it in the world."
Angels and devils are spirit beings. They do not possess a physical body but they can appear as people. An example is when Mary Magdolin came to the tombe of Jesus and there were men dressed in white apparel to tell her that He had arisen.
Satan is a spirit being and from the verses above we can see that he is the antichrist.
The churches have mistakenly taught that the antichrist will be a world leader that will do horrible things particularly to the nation of Israel. This is false. From 1 John 4:3 we see that the antichrist has been here from the beginning. No human can live 2000 years. The antichrist is satan. Those that follow satan are also called antichrists because they are enemies of Christ.

There are many people on this earth now who claim to be christ and there will be many more. A anti christ is someone who claims to be christ and is not. There intention could be money, fame or just all vanity.
There job is to distract from the true church of God and misslead others away and to disscourage them in religion. There will be many more as the latter days continue.
To discover the true church of christ and gain a testimony of him through the spirit which cannot be denied

No. People like to call George W. Bush the anti-christ, but I'm pretty sure the anti-christ will be loved as a peacemaker.......which doesn't sound like Bush.

Where on earth do you people come up with your far-flung definitions of the anti-christ? The ONLY definition of them (not he or she but THEM) are direct from John's second letter: "Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist". 2 JN 1:7
Thus the antichrists are already in the world. They are mostly the gnostic groups of "Christians" who apprently existed prior to John writing his letter to his own disciples in the latter part of the 1st Century A.D.
