why do they embrace science when they think it supports their worldview like say, the big bang theory, but denounce science when it proves their worldview wrong, like say, the theory of evolution? are they cherry picking science? are they hypocrites intent only on keeping their big lie intact?...hmmm...thoughts on this please...

My Mom was raised Catholic and they went to church one day a week...Sunday. Now we are in a Baptist church and they seem to have church all of the time!!!

There is Sunday school before church, church on Sunday, Church on Wednesday and again Friday. THen during the week there are bible studies and groups that meet for more of the same!

Is this the only religion that seems to be in church more than not? I mean, you can't join anything else if you are always in church doing something?

Gen 9:12 And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between ME AND YOU and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come...."

Gen 9:17 So God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant I have established between ME AND ALL LIFE on the earth.”

Does any one else notice it?

Yes, God doesn't know his grammar. I know this error occurs in the NIV and RSV versions of the Bible.

Are you learning towards:
1)What's God Purpose for you in life? To do what God want you to do and obey them.
or
2) To learn the teaching of God and apply it into your daily life and building character .

Lady Suri in my last question said -well look at this and think who is this talking about-then i will tell you what she said-LOL

Isaiah 52:13-53:12 "He will be exaulted, and made very high. He will already have been marred more than any man. (Ok she says this even as we continue -this is speaking of Israel -why cant people see-are they spiritually blind???)

Ok when will Israel be exaulted, after being marred more than any man????
"He will be despised and rejected and lay down his life to make atonement for sins." when did israel lay down its life innocent for its own sins?

"All we like sheep have gone astray and the Lord will make to light on Him the iniquity of us all." Holy Isaiah said that he was a sinner, and this one would take all our sins.

"He will die with the wicked and be burried with the rich." when did israel die? when was it burried with the rich???

" He will see his seed and prosper."
I and millions today of Jewish and gentiles too are Messiah's seed

Thye bible gives specific dimensions for the ark; it is 151,140 ft sq. split into three levels (gen 6:14-15) (do the math and remember that a cubit is the length from the elbow to the tip of the middle finger, defined today as 18-22". I used 22 just to be extra fair.) On the boat were 8 people(6:18), two of every animal (6:19) plus "seven pairs of all clean animals...and a pair of the animals that are not clean...and seven pairs of the birds of the air also" (7:2-3), and "every kind of food that is eaten" (6:21). On this ark they spent one year, one month and ten days (7:11/8:13-14). It took Noah less than one hundred years to build the massive ship (5:32/7:6), and he was 601 when they exited the ark (8:13). He died at the age of 950 (9:29), or 951 (8:13/9:28) if you ignore the shoddy math of 9:29. Doesn't this strike anyone else as impossible?
Aren't there any Jews/Christians out there who have actually read this book? There are more contradictions, but I'm almost out of ch

I have no problem with people having opinions and beleifs but how can it be wrong to eat a dead animal but ok to sit on one or wear one? Their excuse was that leather was a bi product and they were also against waste!!! what a crock......anyone got better excuse for this hypocrosy?
