If you don't believe in God, when you die you'll burn, if you do you'll lose nothing, so why don't you?

LOL. Just want to leave Pascal's Wager before I'm off to bed, happy drinking and good night.

P/s: I bet you that there WILL be people who take this question seriously.

i have always believed in Jesus, and Moses for that matter, but i have always just thought they were good men who had stories that were exaggerated about them... do Christians actually believe that these people could perform miracles... and if they do, why has there not been another profit in 2000 years!?

This being the 200th anniversary of the British Abolition of slavery. Today in Britain its Freedom Sunday were we celebrate the Achievement of William Wilberforce and the Abolitionists who were driven by Christian conviction to stop this evil trade. But today there is more people in bondage Men, Women and Children being traffiked for slave labour and the sex trade. So we need to relight the fire that drove Wilberforce which i believe is the Holy Spirit to crush completley this barbarism of the face of the earth.

This is not an attack on what you believe..but...what lead you to become Atheist? Born that way, atheist relatives, atheist friends, lack of understanding, personal tragedy, need for more hard proof? Please elaborate and in your answers I would appreciate it if you would not attack Christianity...

If love expands into mercy, forgiveness, charity, etc. could that have the long term affect of harming your own genetic pool? Is it logical to give? Two people raised in the same circumstances, have the same possessions / money. One gives and the other does not. Which one is logical?

I don't mean to sound heartless...but i don't see any actual evidence of a God and don't know how people can believe in one. No offence to catholics or christians here, but who can actually believe in someone that doesn't exist?

We'll be telling our grandchildren stories about the great Christian-Atheist War. How the two kept arguing and arguing and arguing, by then War that involves blood should be abolished because we are no longer primitive people, aren't we? So heavy arguments and debates would be the neo-war.

Anyways, "Grandpa grandpa, how did you survive the war?"

"Oh it was hard, Christians asking atheist to prove there is no God and Atheists kept drinking and drinking, it was horrible. Evolution debates everywhere, stupidity reigns! But good thing your grandpa is neither a Christian or an Atheist so I wasn't really involved :P"

Christians, how can we make talking about faith more relaxing and fun, so that people not of our faith don't feel like they need to put up a wall? Share your experiences, atheist or christian.

that the Earth was not the only planet that held life? Apparently, he spent 8 years locked up, constantly being given the opportunity to take back his ideas. When he refused, they burned him alive. I just watched a special on this, and I have spent the last day with his name on the tip of my tounge. Help me out please!

I had died in my vision, and all of sudden my soul was lifted into a dark pool and it had flames around it, and it was hot, then all of a sudden the Devil, popped on the screen, and he was torturing me, he wouldn't allow me to talk, it was so scary.

I tried talking but he wouldn't let me, and then Jesus Christ came and he face went against the Devils face and Jesus won, I was so happy, and I was free. it was so beautiful. I can talk again. Then I ask Jesus why we are here, and then I woke up before he could answer.

When I woke up so I still saw the Devil face on my wall for a short time, and then it went away.
