Believe what you like. Just don't force your beliefs on others, particularly children. Just don't deny evidence to the contrary that is obvious for all sensible people to see. Just don't keep telling people with different beliefs that we're sinners or going to hell... we don't believe in hell so we're really not bothered.
As as for nothing to lose, how about:-
+ half your life wasted worshipping a non-existent entity in the hope of an afterlife that just ain't gonna happen
+ 10% of your income paid to a church that preaches charity but is happy to accumulate wealth even while millions are starving
as for drinking... now there's a spirit I can relate to!
