okay for one its compulsory in my school and when your'e told to 'shutup' because another 'human being' teacher has nothing to do with it, if the queen told me to shutup id be just as upfront,
just because a teacher cant accept other points of view i have to shutup.

If you don't believe there is a God, what are you doing in religious education? Are you trying to find a way to believe?
Or are you trying to disrupt?

Teacher told you to be quiet? Were you in class? Were you being disruptive in that class? Are you a student? Who's class was it?
I have disagreed with my teachers. But not at the point of forgetting I was the student and who's class it was. Does that mean I lost my point of view? No.

This is a rarity in the UK. I don't know what kind of school you go to but that kind of attitude has virtually been purged from Britain. Christianity has been crushed and reduced to being a non issue for most British people. We don't want evangelicals here anymore.

Must be a really insecure teacher. You could really mess with the teacher's mind by asking him if he isn't as sure of his faith since he can't handle hearing anything that differs from his view.

An evangilistic christian teacher tells you to be quiet because he doesn't like what you say.
IF you spoke quietly and respectfully, then he is in the wrong.
You are wrong in saying God doesn't exist, however, his way of handling your comment shows he is either afraid or exasperated.
