Matthew 27:3-5
When Judas, his betrayer, saw that he was condemned, he repented and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders, saying, "I have sinned in betraying innocent blood." They said, "What is that to us? See to it yourself." And throwing down the pieces of silver in the temple, he departed; and he went and hanged himself.

Remeber, here it is said, Judas commited suicide by hanging himself.

Acts 1:18
Now this man [Judas] bought a field with the reward of his wickedness; and falling headlong he burst open in the middle and all his bowels gushed out.

Not only that Judas killed himself twice, in the first part we read that he gave the money to the chief priests and the elders, but in the second part, we read the opposite: he didn’t give the money to the chief, he used it to buy a field.

No, I don't want to convert to it, but I heard some of my friends at school talk about it. At first I thought it was the study of science (hahaha), but then I heard it was a religion, so what do they believe in?

I feel as though the evangelical church movement (for the most part, but not all) has been unfair to women and has taken the Bible out of context concerning their place and treatment in society.

I would like to know how women feel about this, are you in agreement or do you feel as though you have been treated fairly.

Gay pastor gets job after all
The Bishop of Oslo, who's maintained a conservative stand against gay pastors in the state church, has backed down, and now will grant a ministry to a pastor who's living in a gay partnership.
Bishop Ole Christian Kvarme's decision earlier this month to deny a pastor's position to Svein G Josefsen sparked wide debate when it became known last week.

Were these scriptures thought of when making this decision--
1 Timothy 3:2-5--"The bishop therefore must be without reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, orderly, given to hospitality, apt to teach; no brawler, no striker; but gentle, not contentious, no lover of money; one that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (but if a man knoweth not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)"

I'm wondering if any of you guys believe in some sort of equalizing force in the universe. Something like Karma for example. If you do bad, you will be punished, and if you do good you will have good done to you. It obviously wouldn't be god since none of us believe in "him". But, do you believe the universe is fair and that things happen like that? And what would you say causes it?

If someone came to you& said they knew about some burried treasure at a certain place;& they would give you the information to go find it.But the information only gives general info,it doesnt tell you exactly the area it's burried,doesnt say how deep,doesnt tell what land marks to look for or there are none,it only tells what directions to move but not exactly how far to move in each direction,&it doesnt tell you how much treasure there is,just that it's a lot.

Do you go off of faith,pack up&go search for the treasure?Or do you remain skeptic tell the person to keep their directions to treasure.Explain answer please?
