Don't shoot the messenger...
Yes.
Think about it, he cursed his grandson for his son seeing him naked??? That seems a bit harsh for what would seem to be a minor mishap...
Below is a link that goes into this in very deep detail.

No Noah's son's covered their naked Father up, after Noah passed out drunk and naked. There are no stories of homosexual incestuous rape stories in the Bible.Lots wife was turned into a pillar of salt after looking back at the twin cities being burned. Lots two daughters got Lot drunk to have sex with him so that they could have children. In breading didn't result in retardation back then.

Not sons, 'son'...name of ham...And in the olden days it was not only unspeakable; it was unprintable - to say what ham did to his father !!! (Compare see the nakedness of..with a bunch of the prohibitions against incest in Leviticus) BTW: Noah got drunk and was passed out.
And God lost his lunch !!! This stupid boy did egregious wickedness against his father; then bragged to his brothers.
And God was appalled, He thought to Himself..."Here I just wiped out the known world with a flood, personally saved this stupid kid and 7 of his family members; and he goes and does THIS" !!! They aren't worth talking to!!! And, it is written: In olden times, God did not speak to man often.
However, God did go back to the 'scene of the crime' and placed an everlasting curse upon ham (and all the descendants from his genitals)...God is not a weak, soft, sentimental old fool !!!! He plays hardball and I do not blame Him one iota!!! In fact, he has even more esteem in my eyes for not wiping ham and the rest out...then and there.
Now, here's a poser !!! IF God is omniscient; THEN, did He know this was going to happen!!! Or, does God live by faith too.....(in certain trials and events)...????? As below; so above and vice versa.
christop...stop...that is pure balderdash !!! you made it up on the spot OR have been sorely misguided!! And which peoples' did God tell the Israelites to 'wipe out' and take their land; because they were 'unworthy'....the canaanites !!!!

YOUR FATHERS NAKEDNESS IS HIS WIFE...
So Nope, It must of been Noah's wife...
Leviticus 18:8
The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: She IS Thy Fathers Nakedness...
So when Noah got drunk and passed out in his tent, I speculate it may of been to have relations with his own wife.....
Now when Ham saw that Noah passed out drunk, and Noah's wife was unprotected, Ham must of took advantage of her. Then told his brothers to join in....
But his brothers covered his fathers nakedness...which is probably literal....walked in backwards, covered the father and the wife.
And when Noah learned of this deed, (wife was pregnant) he cursed the Child that would be born....Canaan.
Later in Gen 10:6 We find that Canaan is Hams' son.
Remember that Noah had many wives, and this one wife, I don't recall being his actual Mother....so it's not Incest...but rather dishonoring his father.
Dear Bill....You're right, the Cannanites were wiped out, because Noah cursed Ham's child....who was Cannan.
I didn't make this up....I actually read Leviticus to find out what "thy fathers nakedness" is.
Just seeing you father naked doesn't sound like something worth cursing a child over. So, I wanted to find out if it truely was an act of Homosexuality...which led me to a total surprising discovery......Much to my surprise....seeing your fathers nakedness is Not having sex with daddy, but having sex with his wife.
according to Leviticus 18:8
It was Noah's wife.

No, you have him confused with Lot, the brother of Abraham. Lot's daughters got him drunk and at least took advantage of him--one could argue it was rape, I suppose.

It was Noah who got drunk, & was nude. One of his sons, instead of covering him up, stood there to "watch". You can read that in Genisis 9:2129

I dunno, but that leads to me another point. They say he included both male and female specimens for each animal he took with him. What about himself? Did he take a woman aboard so that the two of them could mate and keep the human race intact? Come to think of it, I've never heard that question addressed. Does anybody know?
