Corinthians, 14:34-35:

"Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church."

Lately I've noticed that immigrants involved in doing crimes in our area have been spared punishment by claiming cultural differences. Does God also spare immigrants and give them special rights and priveledges? I mean will he cut them a break because their culture that they learned from was somewhat backwards? No flames please

Does it reallly exist? Is it just a biochemical process? Is it an unprovable idea? Is the belief in love necessary? Has the belief in love been an advantage or a disadvantage for man?

why we never see them advocating for these other Leviticus teachings:

Don't have a variety of crops on the same field. (Leviticus 19:19)

Don't wear clothes made of more than one fabric (Leviticus 19:19)

Don't cut your hair nor shave. (Leviticus 19:27)

If a man cheats on his wife, or vise versa, both the man and the woman must die. (Leviticus 20:10)

If a man has sex with a woman on her period, they are both to be "cut off from their people" (Leviticus 20:18)

People who have flat noses, or is blind or lame, cannot go to an altar of God (Leviticus 21:17-18)

I asked God, if it's not too much for me to ask, could He get the girl I love closer to me in my life(We both live in different cities, we're quite far from each other),

and today she said that her dad's company is going to do some work in my city, and her dad would be coming here often. Because of this, she could tag along and come here more.

I wonder what else I could ask from God? :P

I am in a upstairs room in a house, & evil is up there, & I stand up trying to go to the door and I can't speak to anyone. I just make croaking noises. I stand up and a light shines from my body. But there are other ladies in the dream, outside the room, and one accross in the same room who tries to help. I try to turn the light switch on and the lights don't go on.

Then wake up and still feel the evil in the room. So ask God, and it seems that someone died & went to hell. Someone I knew indirectly. So, I pray for a while about many who come to mind.

What do you think of the fact that a woman is obligated to get the highest education she possibly can, and if she can't, her father or husband are obligated to pay for it? Here are some verses and hadiths. What do you think of those extremists who take these rights from them?

Narrated AbudDarda': "Kathir ibn Qays said: I was sitting with AbudDarda' in the mosque of Damascus. A man came to him and said: AbudDarda, I have come to you from the town of the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) for a tradition that I have heard you relate from the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him). I have come for no other purpose.

God says, that He has set eternity in the hearts of men!
Within each individual there is a God shaped void. No life is complete without being in a relationship with the God who created us, who has a plan and purpose for your life!

If you like what you hear, and you like to believe in something, isn't that your own personal choice? Maybe your parents brainwashed you to be religious, but what about converts? A tribe in Africa finds woman with large holes in their lips to be very attractive, the larger the hole the more attractive. In western culture normally the woman with the small frame and larger breasts is attractive. So are we brainwashed then? Or are the Africans brainwashed? When can people accept that everyone had different views and beliefs and it has nothing to do with brainwashing...

I am a muslim woman who is doing my own humble searching for truth .. My tongue is Arabic so I understand very well God's verse mentioning a conditional permit to a man for having two or three or four wives (and that is if he's responsible for an orphan female or a widow with child whom he needs to be around to provide for and support). All other references to polygamy throughout my readings refer to socio cultural conditions presupposed and regarded as a religeous permission). If you have anything serious to tell me please do. If you will refer to the same personal opinions or historical circumstances.. please spare me. I need solid proof to help me conclude this matter for my own self knowledge. Thank you.
