There is no benefit. What would be beneficial about having to live in a controlled environment (jail) or worse consumed by ones own sin? A "lesson learned" is the only thing that can be scraped together after the damage is done from porno and the various actions that people take after getting involved with it - and that's limited to those who have ability to learn lessons. Now what excuse can we give for anything that causes damage? The ideas of "lessons learned" isn't suppose to add up to encouraging sin ...that would be sin in itself. It's like saying build a home with an absolute to tare it down so one becomes homeless....does that make any sense? Who wants to be the first to dictate this? Does it really make us humble if it's a deliberate lure to create drama? Not if it's man's plan instead of God's. That's why the job of parenting is addressed in the Bible. That is why leadership is also addressed in the Bible.

If men learned to have a loving relationship with a women in the first place rape AND porno would begin to be looked at for what it is and possibly so would the concept of jail time. Altho some insist on seeking out the government to parent them...the gov is privy to the money that can be made and is why parents are being told to raise their children on the Dr. Spook theories. Dads need to model respect for the mother of their child(ren) if and when they've become a father. Marital status is no excuse...if a child is involved even a man who runs off models irresponsibility to his child(ren)...despite the illusion he may grasp onto. There is no such thing as "out of site out of mind". Can a man blame his father ...not really, as we only are here for a short time on this earth (one earthly life) he has other options just like his father does or did. If we know our father had huge faults then we should learn from them not use them to drive ourselves into the ground. There is no question about the fact that porno teaches disrespect towards women and points out the flash of cash. The women that choose to agree to such a lure have a lessoned amount of respect for themselves. Possibly there is art...however, I think it's fair to say that pictures of women being intimate with themselves and movies of men and women selling their bodies to the public are specifically geared towards public prostitution and how could this even begin to be called art. When an artist paints a portrait of a body they look no differently at a bowl of fruit. Porno is a whole different world considering what it is purchase for.

Does repressing anger, sexual desires, and curiosity about ourselves, benefit society in some way? Because according to all of the studies done by noted psychologists that I've read, it seems to create violent psychopaths who go on to rape and murder people.

I think that if we all focused on how we benefit the world, we wouldn't have to worry about exploring questions like this.

Many people have a curiousity and draw to sexual stimulation. Just look at the size of the porn industry to see how wide spread this is. Since I don't believe in "sin" I don't find very much harm in people looking at other people doing what comes naturally.

If you think it does not, then don't participate in it or watch it.
Democracy will take care of it, if needed.
You think woman in general where treated better a hundred years ago or in less educated societies today?

it keeps it contained and above ground, rather than underground where all sorts of horrific stuff could happen to young, unsuspecting women. All women in the porn industry make very good money for what they do, and in turn the porn industry stimulates (haha) the economy.

We are here to learn the true meaning of love.

To completely know what a thing is we must first know all that it is not.

The things that you mentioned are all examples of what love is not so that is their value, they can teach us.

Love and blessings Don
