who notices that non beleivers are VERY defencive of their non religion.
compared to christians,surely that is saying something.
i am not getting at non beleivers one bit.

im a Christian and i really want to go to the relient k concert on april 7 but my church has an easter service at 7:30 in the morning the next day. the concert probably wont end till late but i really want to go. relient k is a Christian band but my dad's the minister at my church and i know he'll want me to go. i would appreciate Christian answers but anyone can help. any suggestions?

There are a lot of negative responses to the movie "the secret". Why is this happening? The movie clearly says that you have to be balanced mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually in order to be connected with intention (or spirit). It also implies that those who choose to give to others will be given to. This goes along with the bible which says that if you give, it shall be given unto you.

There is no reason to bash something this positive. I can't believe that someone wants to inspire others to make positive changes in their life and some people want to waste their time and bash them.

I think it's time for people to wake up. There is more to life than just the physical. There is a spiritual element to life that we must stop ignoring if we are going to evolve as a species.

In Leviticus 8:2, God tells Moses to sacrifice a bullock and two rams.

But in Leviticus 9:3, for another sacrifice Moses tells the Children of Israel to sacrifice a goat, a calf, and a lamb.

So if a Christian wants to sacrifice an animal to God, which kind of animal is best-- a bullock, a ram, a goat, a calf, or a lamb?

Even the Jews, although not the most sociable of religions, kept their beliefs to themselves and the Roman authorities left them alone. The Romans were prepared to tolerate any religion that would tolerate others.

The Christians however, were not a group of people who would tolerate other religions. To them the pagan gods were not just products of superstitions, but were actually demons. Unlike the Jews, they did not just keep their beliefs to themselves, they were actively insulting the pagan gods, insulted the worshipers, and even defaced their idols. At this point the Romans began to consider them a threat to the social stability of the empire. But this does not mean the Christians were targets. In fact, Emperor Trajan (c52-117) replied to a letter asking how theses rebellious citizens are to be handled saying, "They are not to be sought out; but if they are accused and convicted, they must be punished"

How could Cain have married a silbling ,or cousin or what have you? If Cain, has not yet been born?
If God is still creating, M/F. Then how does one figure. And if Adam already ,had a wife, besides Eve. Then why would God not take Adam and his wife. And not put them in the garden together? Don'tmake sense.
Why would God seperate Adam ,from his duties to be fruitful and multiply? And then place him in a garden to be alone For who knows how many years? It don't add up.
And why would God then put Adam into a deep sleep, to create Eve from one of his ribs? If God could of just as easy, brought back, his first wife
That doesn't make sense either. Why wait,till who knows how long, before they are cast from the garden? And where would A&E's bloodline start,anyway? If not from Cain?
Again, you people who say cain married a silbling or relative. Don't add up. If cain had not yet been born. For who knows how many years after. A&E were in the garden? To be cont,,

Recently I had some Jehova's witnesses round at the door, and one of them asked me why I didn't believe in God. The question didn't make much sense to me - nobody is born with religious beliefs, so surely it would be more useful to ask why somebody does believe in God. So I asked her why she did, but she couldn't tell me.
If you believe in God, can you tell me why ?
Please don't stray off topic - I just want simple answers like 'I was brought up in a religious household' or 'I have had a vision of Jesus' or whatever. Please try to think it through before answering and be honest about the origins of your belief.

Are you predgidous of the truth of preachers that lie to their congragation about failing to sell people to come to their church and name calling= atheists= these people believe that god is a spirit and when you believe in god your actually believeing in yourself, god is a spirit. the preachers wont tell the comon truth, ask your preachers for a picture of god. I'll bet they'll lie to you.= Its also illegal for a priest to touch anyone under 18 in their church.
