There are a lot of negative responses to the movie "the secret". Why is this happening? The movie clearly says that you have to be balanced mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually in order to be connected with intention (or spirit). It also implies that those who choose to give to others will be given to. This goes along with the bible which says that if you give, it shall be given unto you.
There is no reason to bash something this positive. I can't believe that someone wants to inspire others to make positive changes in their life and some people want to waste their time and bash them.
I think it's time for people to wake up. There is more to life than just the physical. There is a spiritual element to life that we must stop ignoring if we are going to evolve as a species.

Here's all you need to know. To get what you want, work for it. Determination is all you need! And that didn't cost you a dime!
