A good bacchanalia would probably help.

I don't think there is anyway for you to do it. Americans are pretty set in their ways, plus we have an ultra conservative government in office so that just confirms the strangle hold fundamentalists have on this country.
I think its just better to sit back and let nature take its course. Eventually I think people will automatically come back to polytheistic religions. I already see it happening, but it will take several generations to become a conspicous movement. The ecology movement, feminist movements and the need for most people to get back to their roots will facilitate this change. No need to push it along. Otherwise, we become as bad as the Christians.
In the meantime, just present yourself as the very best example of what a pagan can be and let others live their life.

God and Goddesses of the ancient world? Like the Roman and Greek gods? Their stories are much more amusing!

You point out faith, yet you in basic terms provide examples from pre-Christian Judaism. it particularly is unquestionably real that many prepared religions comprise doctrine extremely meant to subjugate women (the Yahweh cults are staggering examples of this), yet to declare that it is the objective of religion especially is proscribing and misguided. The Yahweh cults have been patriarchal because of the fact they have been born out of matriarchal societies. The subjugation of ladies replaced right into a political maneuver. often conversing, prepared religions are structures of wresting skill from the numerous and putting it in the palms of the few. those few tend to be adult adult males, as adult adult males tend in the direction of greater tiers of competitiveness. by way of glorifying themselves, they glorify manhood, for that reason denigrating womanhood. I applaud your study and take excitement in the help, yet i've got confidence that your end is in blunders. Characterizing faith as in basic terms an device of male domination ignores very a lot of injustice and diminishes the certainty of church homes' crippling consequences on anybody and societies.

Why do you want to do that? I think it would be best to just encourage them to be more tolerant of all religions, including polytheistic religions, but I don't see the point of making them polytheists themselves, unless this is where they find their ultimate fulfillment. But that should be up to each individual.

Hmmm Americans knowing more about the histories and beliefs of cultures other than their own, why not pick something easier to start with like finding a cure for cancer?

I've always had great admiration for Baal... but that's just me. Oh! And Thor! Any god with his own comic book is alright in my book.

Thats just as bad as the Christians. Don't. If they find it, they will find it on their own and they will come to YOU, not the other way around. Don't behave like the Christians do.
