Really, everyone who respects and obeys Jesus Christ performs a 'person to person' ministry to teach his neighbors about the Bible's good news. It is interesting that only Jehovah's Witnesses are so clearly identified with the preaching work; globally nearly 7 million preach publicly each month.
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.
(Acts 5:42) Every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus.
(Acts 20:20) I did not hold back ...from teaching you publicly and from house to house
If someone goes out of their way to disregard Christian preachers and preaching, what is he saying about himself?
(Luke 10:1-17) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos... “He that listens to you listens to me too. And he that disregards you disregards me too. Moreover, he that disregards me disregards also him that sent me forth.”

Dear A2000,
As several others correctly said It isn't free. If you study with them and fall for what they say you will spend eternity paying for it.
In the early 1970s I allowed a near-relative to do a study with me. I was very lonely and with a young child at home and no transportation. The only way she would come to visit me was if I would let her do a study. We did not study the Bible but the book Millions Now Living Will Never Die.
She painted such beautiful pictures but I had a gut feeling that something was very very wrong with what was taught. It wasn't until many years later that I finally read the Bible from cover-to-cover on my own and saw the major flaws in what the Watchtower Witnesses teach.
God's grace is free.
What the Watchtower teaches is NOT.

NO! It isn't 'free'.
Potential recruits are indoctrinated with Watchtower cult propaganda not a wholesome "Bible study".
Moreover, once you get commited to the Watchtower organization you will discover how costly your servitude to the them really is.
Who are Jehovah's Witnesses? A.B.C's. Watchtower dogma basics of an apocalyptic cult.
(A) The central CORE doctrine of the Watchtower/Jehovah's Witnesses is that Jesus had his 'return to power'(aka second coming) in 1914
(B) There is no impending Watchtower's 'end of the world' Armageddon that will destroy 6.5 billion non-Jehovah's Witnesses (just because they don't obey the watchtower) and install watchtower leaders as the earth's rulers.
This IS their message.
(C) Consequently,NO Watchtower "new system" so all JW members will grow old and die just like everybody else
Moreover, your Watchtower masters say over 99% of JW's alive today will NOT go to heaven,as only a limited 144,000 in all of human history go to heaven.
So,what is the final disposition of the JW cult disciple?
Growing old and dying just like normal folks.
The core dogma of the Watchtower by their own admission in hundreds of MILLIONS of issues of their publications, yes entire forest have been denuded for paper to print up 1914.This doctrine is to JW what Mary is to Catholics or Joseph Smith is to Mormons.
1914 is from the Millerite Adventist movement of 1842 which was already debunked way back then.

Witnesses were once fighters for certain good things in our laws, but the organization has evolved full circle into a bunch of hypocritical old men who remain in a severely retarded Victorian world where they hole up and say, "We are the only true religion!" and yet the soup stinks. They are declining the last two years in many parts of the earth due to THIS, the internet, the very thing they are encouraged to avoid because it makes them look so bad. Follow any of the links about Jehovah's Witnesses in the search engines and you will find the record of false prophecies, flip-flops in doctrine, phony dates, and bloodguilt over wrongful deaths, including those from following their ever-changing stance on blood transfusions. This religion is POISON folks! Keep your distance and keep your sanity. FREE is not a good option, they will brainwash you.

I was a baptized Jehovahs Witness and have thousands of hours of studies with them. Through the years I got to see they arn't so different from other groups except they have a hall instead of a church. So they discovered early that organized religion wasn't good. Anyway, I eventually "divorced" them as I was taught by them. I would not be interested in studying with them, even if they paid me a salary. They are pompous pious fakes.

Oh, if only everyone would! I am also one of Jehovah's Witnesses. The sister was sure right about you receiving some unkind answers. Don't let it hinder your enthusiasm to help others come to accurate knowledge. There are still some out there with the right heart condition, and who are seeking the truth...Remember these encouraging words...
John 4: 23 & 24: "Nevertheless, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshipers will worship the Father with spirit and truth, for, indeed, the Father is looking for suchlike ones to worship him. 24Â God is a Spirit, and those worshiping him must worship with spirit and truth.”

Yes many are, though probably not many on here as allot of them seem somewhat hard hearted to learning about God. When one compares the number of Baptised Witnesses with the number of people who attend various meetings, assemblies and the memorial of Christ's death we see that the number of interested ones highly out numbers those who have already dedicated our lives to living by the Bible.

What is your study matter? Is it purely studying the bible? Or will you be using one of the books/brochures publised by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society?
Why does your offer sound like a sales pitch? Is it necessary to add the words 'for free' on the end?

you will get nasty answers on here about your question. just wait. I am a Jehovah Witness sister and I know how nasty many will be. be careful. the watchtower is just a magazine that we read on sunday. we don't follow the watchtower but the bible. if you want to use the king james bible, that is fine with us. our bible has Jehovah's name in the places that have Lord in. also it talks the way we talk. the king james bible was used years ago. we are called Jehovah Witnesses not watchtower witnesses. our bible studies and books are for free. we do not ask for money, we give of our time.

I'm an agnostic, and happy to be so but I do have a question about this... I'm not trying to be impolite so please frogive my bluntness...
Why would it cost anything to study with a jehovas witness in the first place?
Also, and again, not trying to be rude, I honest have been confused about this for a time and would like to know the answer... this "book" that Jehovas witnesses have that is supposed to contain all the names of "those who will be saved"... If it's already written and the names already chosen, then what point is there to become a Jehovas Witness anymore?
