That's what my guy friend and I have done. We're sophomores in High school and my mom doesn't want us to date until we're out of high school. Do you think it could happen, if it is God's will?

The Bible says, commit your way unto the Lord. If you have both done this being prepared for whatever the Lord's way is for you, then you will be blessed.

Sometimes, teenage love lasts a lifetime.

Usually, not.

I can tell you that a LOT of things I thought as a teenager seem naive and kinda loopy now that I'm 28 and I have more perspective on life.

If you're meant to be together, then as you grow up, you'll still be right for each other. But I think it's a good idea to wait, especially if you think it's "true love," because, puddin', you could be totally wrong. Don't get tangled up in something now, so young, because dating will be better for you when you're a little older and more experienced.

Concentrate on having fun, on making friends and doing stuff in groups if your mom doesn't want you dating one-on-one. Hey, crack a book. Write letters to each other. Stay busy.

And if you find out you two are right OR wrong for each other, you'll know that you didn't just force something to work. You'll be basing a relationship on some solid life experience, and going into it as somebody who's more sure of who she is.

BTW, I saw somebody whom I was in looooove with in 10th grade, and now he's ooky and I don't want him noooooo more! Ugh! What was I THINKING?!?

LOL....as a teenager you are talking more about lust than any kind of love. Give yourself a break, there will be many other 'loves' between now and the time you end college, don't miss out on living life.

It could happen, but you are wasting so much time now! These are the best times of your life, you should be doing everything you want. Don't wait to experience love just because of your mom.

doll if you do it it would be against God. sin is against God and one of the ten commandments, honor thy mother and father. maybe it could last, but don't you think your mother may have a valid point. Even if she is wrong telling you not to date him until your out of high school couldn't be of any harm considering you believe its Gods will you be together. Do as your mother says, and do it willingly, tis what i suggest. If it is Gods will then it will happen.

I don't know about God's will. But my husband and I started started dating when we were 16. I thank the Goddesses and Gods everyday for bringing us together. He is truly the yang to my yin.

If it's your will and your boyfriend's, it might. I doubt God has time for the teenage dating scene.

Of course, anything is possible with God. Put it in his hands, pray about it, and if it is ment to be, you will know.

Good Luck, and Pray,
