Is a wink a blink, or is a blink a wink?
If we we blink and someone says it's a wink, what is the proof?

Intent, but you can't prove that. We all blink, I do it all the time and I have no intentions of stopping anytime soon. But, I rarely wink. When you do wink, make it unmistakable. A long, slow wink with maybe an air kiss or some air tongue will let them know that, yes, I was winking at you.

A blink is usually a reflex and effects both eyes, a wink is intentional and usually involves one eye.
If your closeing of one eye was accompanied by a leer and a growl, that is pretty good evidence it was a wink.
