On one hand, Muslims expect Christians and Jews to have respect for the the rights of Muslims and for the religion of Islam (even though Islam can be seen as sort of an "offshoot" of both Christianity and Judaism), yet Muslims and every Muslim nation of the world does not afford the same luxury to Bahai's (the Bahai religion is an offshoot of Islam).Millions of Bahais risk their lives every day simply by living in a Muslim country.

My boyfriend and I are taking some time apart to minister to others-- we're still together, but we're deliberately spending less time together so we can use our time to build relationships centered on Christ. It's hard, but we are eager to see the fruits.

I have a sister in Christ who also has a boyfriend, and while I don't expect her to do the same thing we're doing-- (since God convicts everyone differently)-- I can't help but feel this KNOT in me that cringes every time she talks about how much they spend time with each other (all the time) and what kinds of things he buys her and all the attention he pays to her and how they can't live without each other...

I'm not sure if it's jealousy or envy... or bitterness? All I know is that my boyfriend and I have a calling from God to do what we're doing right now, and I feel empowered to do it. But my human heart feels awful about it whenever I am reminded of what others have that we don't? Please help...

This day and age, its hard to get a Sunday off of work, cuz not everyone goes to church! therefore, we have to work, for those people! Is the Sabath, only for Jews, or Christians as well. Please state your source. Thanks

I've always had the notion that their are kind of two Jesus'.

One is the idea of Jesus, that can't really be disputed. He is the one you think about when the name comes to mind and is about love and forgivness and all that.

Then there was the actual man that had lived, that I can't help but think is a little different from the idea. I think he was just a regular man and not the son of any gods. I'm sure he was full of mistakes and history just made him out to be something he was not.

Anyone else think this?

Whether you're a buddhist, an atheist or a non believer - I don't care.
Lets say there is a God and a Jesus.

What would your answer be if God asked you, "(your name), what reason did you have for not believing (or trusting {if you are a believer}) in Me?"

W h a t d o y o u t h i n k H i s r e s p o n s e w i l l b e ?

PLEASE don't tell me that there is NOT a God or a Jesus! It is not my question and I'm not going to believe you anyway. Thanks!

I have chosen to follow some of the more relevant Bible passages,

for example, be fruitful and multiply,

ive decided to go out to night clubs to have se# with woman in order to follow this bible passage,

secondly, several of the men in the bible have multiple wives one israel king had 700,

when my first wife comes home today from work i will need to explain to her that im following the bible, but that some not all of the bible applies to me,

im not a christian mind you, im not under the new testement,

so i am going to be needing to marry 699 more wives.

Kabbala?I was on the internet on a site called "Heavens' Register Spiritual Teaching". I was surprised that it speaks on prayers to cancel out the transference of positive and negative energy from soul to soul.It also speaks of reincarnation, old souls, palmistry. It seems to be the roots of new age concepts. Information please.

I read a book in which the main character was told that mankind is sick. Wars, hate, meanness, discontent. All part of the sickness. And the cure was 'Ultimate Truth'. At the end of the book he found his 'UT' and was 'cured'.

But the thing about his Truth is that it didn't require him to learn a new language, go anywhere special or adopt any particular 'beliefs'.

I agree with this and wonder what everyone else thinks.

I think that if there is an 'Ultimate Truth' it has to be available to everyone, wherever and whoever they are. It has to be simple. Something that can be found anywhere.

But I also believe that it isn't something that you can 'teach' someone. Nor 'give' to them. Everyone has to find it for themselves.

Does this strike a chord with anyone? Does anyone else think this way? Tell me what you think please. Thanks.
