I have chosen to follow some of the more relevant Bible passages,

for example, be fruitful and multiply,

ive decided to go out to night clubs to have se# with woman in order to follow this bible passage,

secondly, several of the men in the bible have multiple wives one israel king had 700,

when my first wife comes home today from work i will need to explain to her that im following the bible, but that some not all of the bible applies to me,

im not a christian mind you, im not under the new testement,

so i am going to be needing to marry 699 more wives.

We get the point, which is : if we are to take part of the Bible literally - why not take the whole thing and everything that goes along with it, correct? Maybe some will get the picture. We pick and choose in order to fit our own unique lifestyle. This is why so many different sects of religion exist in the first place. Each was conquered by new and different leaders over several centuries of whom incorporated their own (like yours above) ways and beliefs into the religion. (good analogy)

just because people in the Bible do something, doesnt make it right. They were human too, and they mess up sometimes.

You should follow God's rules, not the poor example sometimes set by His followers
