"The Muslims, the Jews, the Christians, and the Sabians. any who believe in God and the last day and do good have their reward with their Lord. There is nothing for them to fear; they will not sorrow."

The Qur'an excludes atheists, but includes Christians, Jews, and Sabians.

I know that the Jewish faith believes in the Old Testament and does not consider the New Testament valid. How long after the Old Testament was the New Testament written?

Not that the ossuary with his family names is FOR SURE his, but it seems like most Christians dismissed it outright BECAUSE they believed he ascended. Does that mean Christians are not interested in the whole truth, just in their current beliefs?

At the moment i attend a college that's a ways away from my non-denominational church home. i have tried attending other churches but i'm just not being filled spiritually. i feel as though i'm missing something and my world is falling down around me. everyone wants to convert and do other things that i'm not looking for. does anyone have any suggestions about what i can do on my own to feel more spiritually mellow and fulfilled besides the normal stuff? (i'm something like a christian by the way and only serious answers please)

I know you don't believe in God but do you believe that there was a man named Jesus and he told people he was the son of God and he was somewhat like the modern day prophets? Or do you think that is just another fictional chapter in the bible?

It was yesterday, and I was just wondering what some of your churches might have done to celebrate.

We only have a few broads from other countries at our church, so we didn't do anything.

The old laws (referring to those in Lev) cease to be in Acts 10. The purpose of the old laws were to establish GOd's children with an identity - a lifestyle to base their existence on. IF they didn't have it, they would be easily swayed into the lifestyles of those Non-believers that romed the earth also. That's why they had laws for everything from what they ate, to marriage, to how they looked, to specific rituals. The problem was that they isolated themselves from everyone and lived solely on those laws. So much so that when Christ came and show them how they can associate with the world and stay true to who they are, they felt threatened that he would lead them into dropping the laws. -Hopefully you know the story there.
Anyway, in Acts 10, Peter accepted the fact that whatever God made serves a purpose. with that he went into the Gentile region and taught Cornelius (non-Jew) and many others. Paul carryied on ever further.

Now there is a purpose for all.

Ur thoughts?

I got bored, so time to share some jokes.

Three friends died and went to heaven. The first guy gets handcuffed to one of the ugliest girls there.
''Why?'' he asks.

The angel replies, ''When you were nine you killed a bird with a stone.'' The same happens to the second guy. He asks why.

The angel replies, ''When you were nine you killed a bird with a stone.'' The third guy laughs at his friends and says, ''Thank God I didn't do anything like that.'' He gets handcuffed to the prettiest girl in heaven. The other two guys ask, ''Why?''

''Because when she was nine she killed a bird with a stone.''

Why do Christian tell me that we are under a New Convenat. That Gods word in the old Testament is no more and we are under a new one (which the old testiment is over 60 percent of the bible). Why do Christian say we have no more laws and we don't have to follow the Ten Commandments and we can eat what ever we want? Where does it say that in the Bible?

If we do then How can a supposed God who says we have free will hold me accountable to chosing to exercise my freewill and not to believe in Christ? Any God or Religion that has RULESZ to get to God is not the truth and is not credible enough to listen to anylonger.
