Is that an excuse to blame someone for my own faults?

They want to perform animal sacrifices at the temple mount, even though it is thought of as a muslim mosque(dome of the rock)
These rabbi's know the law of sacrifice is over, yet they want to do it o please god?
is it me, or are all these religious leaders losing it?

My wife and I have been having some issues for years ( I wont go into detail) and she says she's ready to change. She is going away for a long weekend without me and I really dont trust that she is being honest about her plans. I know she will be spending the weekend with a man. She says no sex will happen and he is helping her with self awareness and things like that. She says that when she returns that she will be ready to make a fresh start and things will start to get better. I've told her how much this "trip" hurts me but she says she has to do it to put alot of things behind her. I suppose I'm just looking for some spiritual words of wisdom and the strenth to do what I know I have to do about my marriage.

I've read that Muhammad had children & that it deems reasonable that his relatives lead Islam after his death. Is this the major controversary between the two? After so many decades after Muhammad's death, why haven't you been able to settle this? I am Catholic & follow the pope. Other Christians have broken off from the church & no longer follow the pope's authority. I know the brutual history of my religion, but today there is no longer violence between the many Christian sects. We are all God's children & all believe in Jesus is His Son. Being Catholic doesn't deem me better than anyone other Christian & I don't hurt or kill others becuz they aren't Catholic. I don't understand why Sunnis & Shiites are still fighting & killing after all these years? Why can't you live in peace among each other? Also, every Muslim that I have talked with online has said that Islam is a religion of peace & love. Yet every day on the news tells of killings by the two. Does Allah really say to kill?

Jesus vs. Satan


Jesus and Satan have a discussion as to who is the better programmer. This goes on for a few hours until they come to an agreement to hold a contest, with God as the judge. They set themselves before their computers and begin. They type furiously, lines of code streaming up the screen, for several hours straight.
Seconds before the end of the competition, a bolt of lightning strikes, taking out the electricity. Moments later, the power is restored, and God announces the contest is over. He asks Satan to show what he has come up with. Satan is visibly upset, and cries, "I have nothing. I lost it all when the power went out."

Very well, then, says God, "let us see if Jesus fared any better." Jesus enters a command, and the screen comes to life in vivid display, the voices of an angelic choir pour forth from the speakers. Satan is astonished. He stutters, "B-b-but how?! I lost everything, yet Jesus' program is intact?

The meaning of this is just lost on me. I don't feel any need to make a sacrifice for my sins. I have a conscience, know right for wrong and don't commit crimes in my society.

If I felt I had to apoligise and make up for something I'd do it. I don't feel any need to pray for forgiveness.
