Why do people think that while I or We are God's children, others are not God's children and sometimes assume they are enemies of God ?

Why do people make such judgements and then call it not judgements but just opinions or choice of freedom ?

Is it not Blasphemy and Hypocrisy ?

Surely these terrorists love Allah. They always shout, Praise Allah!

Surely they read the Koran- LIke the Taliban - they MEMORIZE the Koran!

What is it in the Koran or about Allah that makes Muslims want to kill people?

Regardless if you are an Atheist, Jew, Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Agnostic, or any other religion. Why do we always resort to hatred between one another. Most of the scriptures I have read have an underlying of love for your fellow man. I know that most of us here wish to have peace amongst one another. Why do we allow a select few dictate and mislead us to mistrust, animosity, and hatred for one another. Is there no organizations which support all religions and lack of them that enforce peace amongst all mankind. If there is why are so few following such an organization? What is it that prevents us all from accomplishing world peace? Why can we not simply agree to disagree? Why must we kill father, mother, and child to assure our belief structures? Is the human species beyond such reconciliation?

We had a high school revival among the juniors and seniors that swept the school.

Everyone was on fire for the Lord and we even expanded our church because of it.

Well, it's been two years and most of us went to college. Well, to make a long story short, only oneof us still claims to be a Christian.

When I talk to the others, they just said it was a phase! Most of them are atheists now and a few are agnostic.

What happened!?!? Does getting an education mean losing your religion?

Have you ever felt the urge to pray for someone and then just put it on a list and said, "I'll pray for them later?"

Or has anyone ever called you and said, "I need you to pray for me, I have this need?"

A missionary on furlough told this true story while visiting his home church in Michigan .

"While serving at a small field hospital in Africa , every two weeks I traveled by bicycle through the jungle to a nearby city for supplies. This was a journey of two days and required camping overnight at the halfway point.

On one of these journeys, I arrived in the city where I planned to collect money from a bank, purchase medicine, and supplies, and then begin my two-day journey back to the field hospital.

Upon arrival in the city, I observed two men fighting, one of whom had been seriously injured. I treated him for his injuries and at the same time talked to him about the Lord.

I then traveled two days, camping overnight, and arrived home without incident.

There's the Mormons, the Jehovah's Wittnesses, the Unitarians, The Baptists, the Pentecostals, the Muslims, etc, etc..

I don't even know where to begin!

I read the Bible last year and the Koran this year, I read the Pearl of Great Price, too and the Doctrines and Covenants and a bunch of Watchtower literature, some unitarians havebeen talking to me, as have some One-ness Pentecostal Christians. I even talked with a Catholic priest. They all say that I need to pick their way, or I could be very sorry!

I'm so confused! I prayed, and God hasn't told me anything - I fasted... and nothing!

I think all these books have some cool stuff, but all of them have some pretty unbelievable things in them too!

I'm tired of praying and reading... I'm thinking of studying atheism for awhile.

Recently many western writers/academic portrayed the Roman Catholic church as an evil organisation. I admit that the Church had dark past. But it has reformed. What's wrong being organized? Are unorganised religions better than RC? I am from Indonesia where Christians are minority. But I have to admit that Christian lays good values and ethic.

People keep coming to my house and asking if I've met Jesus... This happpened three times last year!

Apparently it'ssomeone I should know, but someone told me he died or something andsomeone else told me he lives overseas, and someone else said that Jesus didn't even exist, that they were trying to get money from me!

Does anyone know this Jesus character!?!?

I'm just curious. Why do you guys say it is the logical choice when logic and reason once told us the world was flat long ago?

Disclaimer: I did not generalize, I merely refer to those who are. And back then people do think the world was flat because it's logical to them.
