Is it true the new Dollar does not say "In God we trust" ? If so, how sad!

It is a genuine mint error, possibly due to missing a step in the minting process. Online sales will most likely settle around $50. Still a good investment for the long term if you can find one. Popularized error coins have increased in value over time.

NO. It's not true. A few $ were made in the Philadephia mint without the motto "In God We Trust" by accident. The Government is going to ensure that all future runs are complete. Some of the coins have been sold on ebay and experts think the price will settle down to about $50, although the first one sold there went for about $600.

No,not true.
The mint accidentally omitted 'in God we trust' from the coins.It was an error by the mint,not a deliberate thing.You can read the story here:

Some of the new dollars doesn't say " In God we trust ". The mint says it was a mistake,,,If you find any of them, they are selling for alot of money,,,,,,,They are selling on ebay right now for $40-$60,,,,

Its true. About 50,000 new George Washington dollar coins do not say "In God We Trust. I think it was a mistake.

How is it sad? Not all of us trust in god. Further alot of the folks that do dont trust in your god. Why is it that you christians think it needed to have your god in the lives of everyone even those that think it is tripe? What is sad is a group of people who tout a god that gives free will which try to eliminate that free will by legislating they're religion.

im not sure im not american..but that wudnt b much of a loss at all...just cuz it says in God We Trust on a coin doesnt mean your government actually puts its trust in God
