What is with all of this hate?

Question

Regardless if you are an Atheist, Jew, Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Agnostic, or any other religion. Why do we always resort to hatred between one another. Most of the scriptures I have read have an underlying of love for your fellow man. I know that most of us here wish to have peace amongst one another. Why do we allow a select few dictate and mislead us to mistrust, animosity, and hatred for one another. Is there no organizations which support all religions and lack of them that enforce peace amongst all mankind. If there is why are so few following such an organization? What is it that prevents us all from accomplishing world peace? Why can we not simply agree to disagree? Why must we kill father, mother, and child to assure our belief structures? Is the human species beyond such reconciliation?

Lack of tolerance !!

We peoples just use our heart to answer and not the brain which tells us that we all are humen, same peoples, with different believes , so why to fight on this? i guess it makes us worse than animals because we are given brain to think of but we do not use it ! I wish I wish, we could see some tolerance and peace among ourselves and some respect as well..........I wish ! may be some day we might understand each other and live in peace ! Believes have nothing to do with our conduct, A muslim can be peaceful and loving, A christain can be and any person from any community...infact the ratio of bad peoples is very less but they look dominated because negativity express itself with more force and positivity remain mostly in shadow!

Well Islam supports all religion, as there are no compulsion in religion and we follow our own religion, such is said in the Qu'ran.

Anyways, to answer your question, we are all humans. As human, we have limited patience, and anger. Some things in life makes us angry and sad, thus will mislead us.

That's why there is a lot of hatred in this world.

The only one and the largest on the face of the earth is Jehovah Gods Christian Wtnesses. They have over 100 thousand congregations world wide and are willing to help any one whether spiritual or material free of charge. And you will note that what ever land they are in and that includes the war zones of today they never fight with one another or any one else. They are always in totle peace. Mankind can't do that on his own, just look at where they have put us today.

Very soon the whole earth will be in harmony with Gods Kingdom Government in power so the witnesses are just a glimps of the very near future.

I suspect it has a lot to do with this being the Internet. The anonymity can be intoxicating.

It's also true that these things strike very close to the heart for beleivers and non-believers alike. I was going to say "people have a hard time being rational about things like that", but maybe I'll just say "people have a hard time being rational" and let it go at that.

Now, first off, a disclaimer: I REALLY don't believe in this none-sense!!!

Ok, now that that's out of the way, lol...do you realize that your suggestion is one of the christian biblical precursors to armageddon or whatever? LMAO!!! People spread hate because people are hateful creatures. We are bastard-coated bastards with a bastard creme filling....even our religions can't decide if it's ok for god to be violent and vengeful or kind and loving....look at old testament vs new testament for cryin' out loud! It's no wonder people are so confused! When we hate eachother, it results in us feeling like we have control over one-another....which is what people really crave. I asked in another post once, "what makes the human species fit to survive?" I never checked the answers, but I can tell you now, we're the worst thing that ever walked the face of this planet.

I agree with you 100%. Many people on here are downright arrogant when talking about their religion, or they are so judgmental and angry, it's hard to believe they've heard of God at all. If you don't have love you don't know God, I don't care how convinced you may be in your mind. I keep my distance from people like that to avoid the negativity.

Those who commit funny things in the name of religion are zealots who hide in these religious organizations.They dont have any drop of faith in themselves.NO religion will spread hatred,racism,blow fellow human beings in the name of religion or fight.Those who kill or do these things in the name of religion are workshop of devil who is misusing them in the name of religion.Good religion preaches peace,love,humility and racial torelance.Satan is certainly using God's people in the name of religion.God said never revenge.It is his preserve.Love your enemy and your friend alike.Holy Scriptures should be our guide.

I don't know what scriptures you're talking about. The Bible is full of hatred, bigotry and violence, and its core message is that some of us are going to hell and a chosen "saved" few are not. You can dress it up all you want, but it still stinks. It's the Bible that talks about killing, and since the Bible was written by Man, I guess that means that human beings are a pretty violent species. If we want world peace, we could start by getting rid of religious superstition and the wars that has caused.
