One smart guy said: "They were using swords earlier, now they are using bombs". So did you convert to Islam smarty, fearing all those bombs?
Islam is the fastest growing religion because:
1. It is the true religion of Almighty God.
2. It is sensible.
3. It is fair to its followers.
4. It is most fair to non-Muslims who are not hostile to Muslims.
5. It is the only religion that explains the purpose of our birth & the true consequences of our actions in this life.

Every religion is basically a set of rules what to do and what not to do, what is correct and what is not correct. In islam these rules are given in the form of order or command from Allah. In other religion these do's and dont's have to be derived from tales and stories in the form of moral values. so people are able to understand and follow Islam easily. Moreover Islam has emphasised on every aspects of daily life and dealings by giving their followers explicit orders to follow .A very simple thing for example, one is told to wish another person when he comes across, always with his smile. It means if a person is not wishing any fellow human being with a smile then he is defying the orders of Allah. Now this defying of order regarding not smiling is as grave a crime as indulging in idol worship .so every command of Allah has to be given equal importance and it should not be picked up as per ones own convenience, mood and interpretation. This is the beauty of Islam by virtue of it, it scores over other religion and becomes an attractive option.

As far as label and numbers under the label are counted, its number only.
We must have concern with how many people realilze (Didar of allah, God, Bhagvan, etc.) the inner supreme of virtues individually, irrespective of Islam, Hindu, Christian, Buddhist and all those are in existence today.
In India there are hundreds and hundreds of new founders are freely forming different foundations but that doesn't mean all people joining realizes the truth. When the number of realized persons will be 100% than the earth will be jannat, swarg, heaven etc. These are different words of different languages only. We are all human beings captured in this physical body irrespective of country, cast, creed, race and religion. Let the happiness and peace sprinkle from Allah, God and Paramaatmaa etc., wether it is under the name of Islam, Hindu, Christianity or whatever.

Unfortunately, even in the field of practicing true religion, we go by the numbers! Is it like electing a president?
There may be a hand count of true followers of the Universal eternal religion, also called "Sanatan Vedic Dharma". This was the religion practiced by Prophet Mohammed and Jesus and Indian saints. They floated certain doctrines for the people to follow in the contemporary conditions.
But we misunderstood that, and built religions like Islam, Christianity, Hinduism etc. and in following those we have started confronting fellow beings.
If we were following true religion, which is eternal and alike for all human beings, we would have lived in a world without ignorance. That is what these prophets and saints wanted us to practice.
Isn't what I am writing, making sense?

Is it? Are the suicide bombers killing only Christians or are they killing Islamic people too? Maybe the terrorists are not the typical Islamic believers but that is what I think of when I think of Islam. I can not imagine someone wanting to be involved with that if they had a choice. I am ignorant of the Islamic beliefs, I'm sure. Allah seems to be a god that you might not have a personal relationship with. Do they feel he loves his people? This is not original with me but I read that the difference between Islam and Christianity is that in Islam, Allah asks that your son die for him and in Christianity God has His son die for you. I choose the latter.

I don't believe that it is. No religion is growing, because people are starting to wake up and see all that religion is , is a way to control the masses and collect money.

Cos they are the ones who never follow the population control measures.
Prove it... Buddhism is the fastest growing religion. Although the number of buddhists is far less, but a large number of people are looking towards it as the most peaceful religion and rapidly adopting the buddhist fundamentals. If you gather the rate of conversion of massses towards any religion, you would find the rate of conversion towards buddhism is higher than any other religion.
God bless you...

Despite massacre and mass killing of Muslims, Muslims are growing due to the simple and natural teachings of Islam. Its opponents hate, condemn, humiliate and insult its teachings and in such efforts study, examine and compare them. Finally they become victims of Islamic Teachings voluntarily and convert to Islam, though there are no organised efforts for such conversions into Islam.
