God's Law is this:
1. A piece of buttered bread will always fall buttered side down when you drop it.
2. The phone/doorbell will always ring when you are in the bathroom.
3. If a train is habitually 2 minutes late and you turn up one day 1 minute after scheduled departure time, the train will have left on time.
4. The gas/electric meter/tea/coffee/sugar/milk always runs out in the middle of the night when all the shops are shut.
