Do you know whether or not a heaven or hell actually exists with absolute certainty?

Better yet, do you know whether or not there is even life after death with absolute certainty?

If you knew with absolute certainty, would faith be necessary?

If you believe in teaching Creationism in schools do you beleive that it should only be the Christian creationism. Not everyone in America is Christian, should we include their creationism accounts in teaching also?

Also, would you be for or against teaching other religions (not promoting) then your own to a Social Studies class? More to teach the intigration of regligion into a culture rather then teaching the religion by itself. Just the basics, the fundimentals and the principals.

I will welcome answers from both sides of the spectrum, just please tell me why or why not.
Thanks for your time.

When you begin your relationship with the Lord (if you didn't already have one) is it not free will that allows you to welcome the Lord into your heart? Or is it that God chose your already and no matter what this was predestined to happen? I just feel every person is given the same opportunity to be with the Lord, but it is our free will that allows us to choose. Without free will it would not be a true love, needing and longing for the Lord, would it? I have recently been told that I'm wrong in thinking this. I would like to know others opinions and if possible, scripture to back up your answer. Thank you for answering!

There is water ice on Mars, and clear evidence of surface flowing water coming from underground aquifers. We have proven existence of dozens of planets rotating around other starts. Earth is not unique.

It’s only a matter of time before we find life on other planets, why would god scatter his seeds and tell us we were SPECIAL?

I mean who do you think led the charge against slavery?
While other denominations were trying to use the Bible to justify kidnapping Africans and whipping them regularly, the Quakers decided that conscience and the Golden Rule were what counted. They called for abolition when it made people around them angry and uncomfortable.

2) manmade global warming
3) the bible
4) reincarnation
5) wichcraft

7) prophecy
8) the existance of a greater power
9) psychics, contacting the dead

God has a history of punishing people en mass. i.e. a few people are bad so he wipes out the whole population. e.g. The great flood, the plague on the Egyptions, Sodom and Gomora (excuse the spelling) and I'm sure you can think of many more. So is God using the west (e.g.like a plague of locusts) to punish the middle east.

Why would I be willing to spend an eternity in the Christian Hell they talk about so much, if I wasnt REALLY committed to my lack of belief. The burden of proof is not on us, it is on God and I put him/her to task. Remember they road LESS traveled is the right road.

I am studying Max Lucado's book, Come Thirsty. There are parts in the workbook where he asks you to complete different bible verses using several different translations and I can not find a NCV translation of Ephesians 4:23-24. I have looked at all the "typical" websites, does anyone have this translation? Please don't give me the other versions (NLT, NIV, NKJV, RSV, etc) I already have those. I need the NCV translation. Thank you!

However hard I may try, the God does not ever seem to be happy with me.

Why is God so arrogant and oblivious to many people who do try sincerely to find Him and still dont get.

Here's the quote from "The Humanity and Divinity of Jesus," written in 1950.
"The orthodox attempt to explain the divinity of Jesus in terms of an inherent metaphysical substance within him seems to me quite inadequate. . . . actually harmful and detrimental. To invest this Christ with such supernatural qualities makes the rejoinder: 'Oh, well, he had a better chance for that kind of life than we can possible have.' In other words, one could easily use this as a means to hide behind his failures. So that the orthodox view of the divinity of Christ is in my mind quite readily denied."

People speak of mosaic law and new covenants but where can I find this exactly...and not as an "interpertation" but in black and white text.

If so why did christ die on a friday, rest saturday (sabbath) as his father did then rise on sunday. If the old law was no more then why did he give example of following this law even after his death?

Relating to the laws of the universe. Similar to the law of attraction. Please answer if you really know this answer.

I realize that Israel, as a country, has battles with other countries, but I've never heard of a Jewish inquisition or a Jewish "jihadist." In fact, they appear to be the victims of Christianity and Islam the majority of the time. Even Hitler claimed some Christian affiliation, and I don't recall the Catholic church speaking out against him.

So maybe people ought to ask themselves what makes Judaism more peaceful. My guess is because they are scholarly and regularly debate every issue they come across in their scriptures (Old Testament and Talmud.) They respect rational analysis and people don't freak out about questions.

Why don't we compile an FAQ regarding Islam and every last misconception that people have on us.

I notice a lot of the questions they ask are redundant, so why don't we just make an FAQ where they can check it out themselves or at least we won't have to write the same stuff over and over again.

So what do you think and what questions do you feel deserving FAQ?

I would like to know so that I may chant a prayer on this day but I'm unable to find out anywhere what day of the week this might be.

I'd appreiciate no silly answers - everyone has the right to their own beliefs and just because you think it is silly for me to try to enhance my life this way doesn't mean that I do, so if you truly don't know the answer or have no helpful suggestions please keep your thoughts to yourself.
