Get in trouble as in some one is going to approach you and bean ya? No.

However there is trouble because the Gideon Bible (as all Protestant Bibles) has many books, chapters and verses that are not found in the Catholic Bible (The best one and frankly the only Bible AT all for over 1500 years is Latin Vulgate--English translated into "Douay-Rheims Bible"), your in danger of getting into trouble due to confusion. If your stuck in a hotel, read up! But using it as a study guide... beware.

Does it have ALL of the books of the Bible in it? Also, if there is commentary or footnotes in the Gideon Bible, it may conflict with Catholic doctrine.
