I'm with you all the way Brother.
I think we should introduce people to the meaning of Jihad-Marriage-woman's rights-Muhammed(pbuh) and Islam's pillars.

I dunno but I kinda feel the same as you do. I am Christian but many people have VERY wrong misconceptions about us as well.
I really find it funny when they ask us Christians a question. First they ask us. Then, sometimes the question asker will say something prejudiced against Christianity or God, or anyone who has a religion. And/Or if it does not come from the asker, 10 mins. after the question, you get a LOT of people cursing and mocking religion, God, Christians, etc.
Ya it's really terrible, this site. So BADLY moderated. So much insults, racial discrimination, religious discrimination, prejudice, etc.
I also feel bad for you Muslims as well because, you know how many people like to call you terrorists and stuff. So MUCH BIAS.
Even weirder and whacked, is the fact that the guy who makes the question with a lot of misconceptions about us will usually choose a guy's answer which is as BIASED as the asker is! So ANNOYING! If a non - Christian makes a statement, for example, and asks what we, Christians would say about it,(therefore, he is asking for Christian opinions, not non Christian opinions) the BEST ANSWER will usually not be from one of us.
Why? The biased guy will see that people are not in support of him and get this guy who is NON Christian and take his answer as is. He closes the question and selects the BEST ANSWER from the guy who is ALSO full of misconceptions about God, Christianity, etc!
Im not so sure if you should start a FAQ though. A FAQ will never be sufficient in answering ALL. You, as a Muslim, must believe in God, your Islam faith, the Quran, etc for answers. Of course, you cannot fit in all info, in a FAQ. I have MANY Christian books at home, including books of saints, apologetics, BIBLES, morality, tradition, etc, and even those are not enough to hold ALL info I need.
Just do what I usually do when given these situations. NEVER GIVE UP! If you love God, then your faith is worth dying for! Just keep FIGHTING BACK!
I just wish others also saw the same way you did. There is a lot of Bias on this site against both Christians and Muslims. But if we pray and work together, maybe we can diminish the threat of these people who love prejudice and doing these things to us.
God Bless,
from a Christian.

As Salaam Brother.. Excellent suggestion here.. I am here to contributr in whatever way i can... Research for answers etc... Brother Ammad has an excellent point here and I agree with him too... This is the least we can do for Islam.. We can atleast remove the misconceptions.. People are lazy or dont have time to look into 'authentic' sites for proper answers. This will be interesting and will cover wide area of questions... Add me if you start something..
Jazakh Allah Khair...
Peace..

that would be a good idea. I am not a muslim. I am wondering though if you are open to other peoples religious beliefs? Or would you criticize them think only yours are right? I am sure you have misconceptions about Christianity as well. Seems like most of your people have different ways of interpreting your own religion. Everyday in Iraq, fellow muslims are killing each other for different beliefs in the same relgion. Am I wrong?

We can all use the internet and get any answers we seek. The reason I come here is to get many different opinions from one source. Some things are confusing such as Muslims ability to have 4 wives but when some of you explain the reasons in your own words its much better than reading a blanket statement. I rarely click on any links. Peace :-)

That is a great idea, even for the non-Muslims like me. I am currently writing 360 blogs about Christianity vs Islam. Feel free to comment. It is not a debate, more like a discussion group. I write about the subject and tell the Cristian view and people can correct me if I am wrong. We might never agree, but at least we can hear each other out. : )

I like this idea ( I'm christian) but i,ve actually been thinking along the same line. like compiling a list of the most commonly asked questions .the best answers for that question, scriptures and links for web sites with more info. I just don't have it all figured out yet. maybe as simple as doing it all here on my computer /copy-paste into yahoo answers or as complex as putting it on a web site where you go and look up your question alphabetically.each question open to add more info as needed.
Id be interested in what you come up with.
good luck ><>

salam o alaikum brother.. mashaAllah its really a great idea..
but you know when we answer individually people think of importance....
see so many sites are there on internet
like.. www.answering-islam.com
but problem.. not one like to visit..
but what these christain missionarries are doing is.. they are visiting our houses..
so why don't we go individually not to houses but atleast to their.. email... :)
i think if you start FAQ it will be helpful..
but sidebyside we should continue answering people thru yahoo answers.. to more the people ask question more alhum dulillah we are bound to reply if not atleast we will search for it...
takecare ..
