The second answer by Esther (and I don't ask this to insult her, I just saw an interesting point brought up here) says that the Old Testament was given to the Hebrews and that Gentiles will not follow the Old Testament laws.

If this is true, then why is the Old Testament still a part of the Bible?
Also, if this is true, then why do you follow the Ten Commandments and believe in the Creation, which were both part of the Old Testament?

Should I stop eating lobster?
Levictus 11:10
'But anything in the seas or rivers that does not have fins and scales, regard as an abomination. Do not eat their meat and regard their carcasses as an abomination.'

Why's the Bible so nit-picky? lol

I am wanting to do this for the Lord, and I'm not really sure what to do. (I am still a work in progress.) Do you have more than water? Or do you have nothing? How long do you do it for? I've heard of anywhere from 24hours to 28days!!!

The Church of Reality is not a religion of science, it is a religion of people. We explore reality from the human perspective. In order to explore reality we need a strong, healthy society where people can live freely and peacefully, and the human race can evolve forward toward a better future. The pursuit of reality is something that is a shared process. It's something we do together as a church, as a community, and as the human race.

Once again the question is irrelevant. so here's the answer I got:
No, I would say most Christians do not feel that way. The fact that the history of Noah is recorded in the bible and the fact that Jesus even mentioned the attitudes of people in Noah's day as being the same in "the last days" or our days. We can see that that is true. Eating, drinking, being married and they took no note then the flood came. People are doing the same today, eating, drinking, marrying and not paying attention to the prophesied events going on right now. That is enough for me to know that it is a true story an historical event.

What would be the purpose of making up such a story?

Weren't the roman's much worse "sinners" than us today? I mean orgies and gluttony and watching people tear one another apart for entertainment..... I think we're better now- how come y'all think it's the "end times" now when it was soooo much worse then and we weren't smote??

Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan stressed religious unity during his final major speech, saying the world is at war because Christians, Muslims and people of other faiths are divided and that God is angry with leaders who are putting politicas and greed above serving their fellow man. Do you see this as an accurate statement of world affairs or not? If so, tell why you agree with Farrakhan, and if you do not agree, tell why you disagee with him.

As we all know terrorism is totally againts Islam. So, given the chance to meet a terrorist and you have a Qu'ran/translation of it with you, do you dare to show the terrorist page by page why they are wrong?

I would. Heck, I've done it a lot of times to my other friends and family =p

And I presume that it is, does every person look different to every other person? My perfect heaven would for example have my gran, at 'gran' age, and my parents in their 50's, and me at about the age I am now (late 20's). But I doubt the happiest time in my grans life was when she was 80, and I doubt that my mothers fondest memories of her mum are when she was 80.
If this is the case, then heaven must be some sort of illusion. Or when things are perfect, are physical forms no longer relevant. Appreciate your thoughts.

I'm a bit at a loss with the question posed about abortion in an earlier question. Why would one use a homicide to argue their point? It makes me a little uneasy and it feels unethical. Thoughts?
