As we all know terrorism is totally againts Islam. So, given the chance to meet a terrorist and you have a Qu'ran/translation of it with you, do you dare to show the terrorist page by page why they are wrong?

I would. Heck, I've done it a lot of times to my other friends and family =p

Lol... of course, done it before and will do it again. They will try to show you the verses that relate to war, then you can show them the verses that relate to love and peace.

Then, you can also show them that the verses relating to war are referring to enemies that know you are fighting them (no sneak attacks), enemies that have arms against you (no innocent civilians what so ever), and even if the enemy has arms against you, if it is a child, woman, or old person you can not fight them!!!

But, of course the ignorant, the so-called Muslims that still kill innocent people no matter the innocence, age, gender, etc, and also the ignorant people who know nothing about Islam who just go off of what they see, will pick and choose the parts of the Quran, and take them out of text to use as justification for what they are spreading.

But they'll show you back where it's justified. Then what do you do!

I mean I can give you citations from the Qur'an about hiding and striking your enemy without warning. Which is terrorism. That's NOT open warfare! That's bushwacking (which just struck me as an ironic term Bush whacking)!

I'm not a Muslim, but would do this very thing if confronted with a terrorist. Great question!

You are obligated to. The same as if a brother or sister was drinking alcohol, you must show them why they are wrong.

Yes, especially where they take the verses out of context.

I would do it. I would love to show them that they are wrong and they need to stop what they are doing.

dude, if your family is terroristic then disown them and report them to the fbi. You should never have anything to do with them again

Good for you. You will realize someday, that those who do such things, really don't listen anyways.

Forget page by page... I would show them Ayat by Ayat why they are wrong.

I think it is a noble thing when one trust God so much that one is not scared to be on the side of the truth. : )
