God has a history of punishing people en mass. i.e. a few people are bad so he wipes out the whole population. e.g. The great flood, the plague on the Egyptions, Sodom and Gomora (excuse the spelling) and I'm sure you can think of many more. So is God using the west (e.g.like a plague of locusts) to punish the middle east.

The laws of nature first the that every action has a reaction and the second that survival of the fittest are prevailing in the present situation;as such you can say that God is using west to punish middle east.The holy Prophet of Islam propheside that no human hand shall be able to combat Dajjal;as such middle east should turn to God, because without His interference Dajjal cannot be stopped;all human efforts, wehther Afghani, Iraqi or Iranian are against the will of God.
