I do not have any enemies at this time. It is difficult to say if I could love an enemy because it would require quite a cruel act for me to consider someone my enemy.

Luckily, I'm not important enough to have enemies. During my days as a soldier, I can't say I loved, or hated, the enemy. It seemed to me we were all more or less pawns of forces beyond our control - and downright deceitful forces at that..

Tough question. The term love gets thrown around alot. I love oreo cookies...I love my wife...I love taking a nap. Its easy to get mixed up in what "I" think is love, and what "You" think is love. As far as my enemy is concered..I would have to say that there is a love in my heart for all mankind. the ones who have wronged me, and the one who have not. But, thats not to say that I have to like them. Just have a cocern for their spiritual well being. As the old saying goes...(cliche' i know) Love the sinner, but hate the sin. Hope what ive written makes some sense.

You can not explain in words...how. How do you open your hand when it is a fist? You just do it.

What you need to investigate is what is it within you that prevents you from loving your enemies. (what prevents you from opening your hand...so to speak)

somewhere deep down, but initially it's buried under a massive desire to bring a horribly painful death on em. it wears off soon though. they just gotta weather it out for a week, and we can be best buds again.
