Lets have a look at how disgusting it is.
As long as the Muslims make up about 1%, they are generally considered a peace-loving minority who do not bother anyone.
At 2-3%, some start proselytizing to other minorities and disgruntled groups, especially in prison and among street gangs.
At 5%, Muslims have an unreasonably large influence relative to their share of the population. Many demand halal slaughtered meat, and have been pushing the food industry to produce and sell it. They have also started to work toward the government giving them autonomy under sharia law. Hammond writes that the goal of Islam is not to convert the whole world, but rather, to establish sharia law all over the world.
When Muslims reach 10%, historically, lawlessness increases. Some start to complain about their situation, start riots and car fires, and threaten people they feel insult Islam.
At 20%, violent riots erupt, jihadi militia groups are formed, people are murdered, and churches and synagogues are set ablaze.
When the Muslims reach 40% of the population, there are widespread massacres, constant terror attacks and militia warfare.
At 60%, there is the possibility of uninhibited persecution of non-Muslims, sporadic ethnic cleansing, possible genocide, implementation of sharia law and jizya (the tax for "protection" that unbelievers must pay).
When there are 80% Muslims in the country, they have taken control of the government apparatus and are, as in, for instance, Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq, committing violence in the name of Islam or political power.
When 100% are Muslims, the peace in the house of Islam is supposed to come -- hence the claim that Islam is the "religion of peace."

British government research shows that Christians are much more prevelant in the prison population for sexual crimes than non Christians!!
American research shows that Christians who quote biblical verse can be shown to have a much higher violent tendency than non Christians.
In the last four months in places as far apart as Chicago, Canada, England and a number of other countries authorities have had to move in to curb the extreme actions of Christian groups.
Clean out your own stable before you criticise others beliefs!!!!

I pretty much find them all that way. Islam is just a few centuries behind the others in their thinking on behavior.

Islam is NOT a disgusting and vile religion. Speaking as a devout Muslim, it's important for non-Muslims to reach out and establish contact with the Muslim communities around them before making such harsh judgment.
Do you personally know any Muslims? Do you have any Muslim friends? Have you read the Qur'an? Have you visited a Mosque? Muslim people are the most friendly and hospitable people you'll ever meet.
Islam is a peaceful and tolerant religion, whatever you see on the news is all political, it has nothing to do with the essence of Islam. Iraqis are resisting against military occupation and invasion because they are defending their homes. Palestinians fight out of desperation as well because they're oppressed by the Israeli military. You can't blame a religion when these people are facing such adversity.
Any violence that exists in the Qur'an is self-defense and those revelations were revealed at a time when the early Muslims were being murdered, prosecuted, raped, and driven out of their homes by the pagan Arabs. Muhammad, peace be upon him, did not want to fight, but his followers were begging for him to take a stand because their people were dieing. Islam liberated women from being treated as objects and possessions. Islam also stopped female infanticide in Arabia and gave women rights! The Qur'an never states that Muslims should kill non-believers just for the sake of it. A major misconception is that people think the word "infidel" is used to describe Christian and Jews in the Qur'an, when it's really not at all. Christians and Jews are considered believers and People of the Book.
[2:62] Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the Sabians; anyone who believes in GOD, and believes in the Last Day, and leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.
[2:136] Say, "We believe in GOD, and in what was sent down to us, and in what was sent down to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, and the Patriarchs; and in what was given to Moses and Jesus, and all the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction among any of them. To Him alone we are submitters."
[17:70] “And verily We have bestowed honor on the children of Adam; provided them with transport on land and sea; given them for sustenance things good and pure; and conferred on them special favors, above a great part of Our creation.
[29:46] “And argue not with the People of the Book except in a way that is best, unless it be with those of them who do wrong, but say: ‘We believe in that which hath been revealed unto us and revealed unto you; our God and your God is One, and unto Him we submit.
It's important to understand that we are also human beings and we have a faith that is very dear to our hearts. Befriending and meeting Muslims in the real world also helps one's understanding of Islam, its various cultures and diverse peoples.

Because it boasts to being the fastest growing religion even though the root cause of this growth was through unethical means; such as forced conversions. Includes practices like taqiyya, where it is taught a Muslim should routinely lie and deceive non believers. With rules like that how can anyone trust its followers. An example of taqiyya being used is when people say Islam means peace, which is a half truth in reality Islam means to accept / to submit, and in Islam it is believed that true peace can only be achieved once Islam is in power and everyone submits to their way of thinking. Another example is a blatant lie by a commenter above that any violence in the Quran is in self defence, if you read the Quran you will see for yourself Islam has, will and always will be the main aggressor because they are a collective of people brain washed into a messed up ideology created by an evil tyrant. In my opinion it is a disgusting religion that needs to be exposed for what it is, so that more Muslims can be liberated of its sick belief system.
Well that's the fact of the matter, but even on a common sense level remember this, "the ends can never justify the means" they claim their cause is righteous, but a regardless of that killing, deceiving and bullying others towards what you consider the "truth" is wrong.

No, I think it's just as reasonable as any other religion. I think if you look closely at the practitioners of Islam, you'll find that they are more like you than they are different.
