It was yesterday, and I was just wondering what some of your churches might have done to celebrate.

We only have a few broads from other countries at our church, so we didn't do anything.

Yes! In the Holy Church of Mhahskulinity they take their broads and give them wine then strip them naked from their worldly posessions and slip them the divine sausage. It's a true celebration and veneration of women in their religion.

Kermit - you're great.

Many mainstream religions are sexist or downright misogynistic. I doubt that International Women's Day was even acknowledged, let alone celebrated in many religious institutions.

Btw, calling women "broads" = sexist.

The Catholics allow their women out of the kitchen for a couple hours, and Muslim women are allowed to wear a burkah in a slightly lighter shade of black.
