I work at a place were I enjoy the work. I like the people I work with but I hate the way the store is ran. I'm a college student and honestly the money is great for me while I'm in school. It's a huge financial relief having everything I want, and more. But the mental strain daily of the unfair work load/favoritism makes it hard to deal. I often blow up and end up throwing things or something of the sort, that I later regret. But it's because no matter how often I've talked to the manager, nothing changes, because he just doesn't care himself. The owner is even worse so going to him is 100% not an option.
The problem is the people I work with have the attitude "I don't have to work, so I'm not going to work" because people that have not been there as long and don't have 'seniority' have to do the majority of the work, while they watch TV or talk. I understand, who wants to work when you can get paid to watch TV? I split workload and help them why can't they help me? How do I deal?
