For me it would have to be when you hold the door open for somebody and they don't say thank you and just go right through

How about you?

You think they are stupid or slow? Do you take what they sat seriously? Or do people assume that they don't know what there talking about?

Ok what's up with that? You can't ask complete strangers what you should give someone for Christmas or their birthdays!!
We don't know the person; you do!!!!
And just so you know, that's 90% of giving. It's finding that perfect gift they will love.
If you don't know your boyfriend, girlfriend, wife, husband, sister, brother, mother well enough to find a perfect gift, you have a completely different problem!
yeah I know it's not a question so sue me!
Here's my question, why don't people care enough to find out from their loved ones what they like and want?
I have enough stupid candles to last me a life time and seriously just from what you've read so far, do I really sound like a candle person to you?
Yeah I'm the poster child for tranquility!

I'm going to get my own room and sleep on the bed provided with the tv provided. I'm getting a killer deal on the room. But what should I ask, do or be aware of before moving in? They appear to be very nice people and I am as well. But I just want the process to be smooth and comfortable for everyone, no hidden things, no wierd pet peeves, etc. I have never moved in with people so I am a little nervous but at the same time really excited. Thanks.

i am relatively young, but i was taught that a man should take their hats off when entering a building.
It seems that the only people who know this are few guys who were taught this, and military men.
Who else thinks its rude?
I usually dont care enough to say anything unless im at work, but it still seems rude.
Did anyone NOT know of this 'rule'?

By the way, i am bad about keeping elbows off the table, so i am bad in my own way.

OK, so I was talking with my cousin on the phone the other night and I heard her soon-to-be-husband saying something in the background behind her and then she said to me "oh, 'sam' (her soon to be hubby) wants you to know that his mother just LOVES you". I didn't know what to say since I've only met this woman 3 or 4 times in my life. I said "um haha, tell him I love his mom too(she really is a very sweet old lady)" and she did. Today she informs me that she is annoyed because his mom doesn't like her very much and she apparently "loves" me and she's kinda been taking it out on me since then. I don't know what to say. Did I say something wrong? Why is she acting like this? She declined my dinner invitation and has been very short with me.

I have a friend who is pretty large--about 350-400lbs. And she is such a sweet heart, you would not believe. So she is going to Las Vegas from Maui and I asked her if I gave her money, can she pick up some panties from Victoria Secret for me since we do not have them in Maui.
She told me she would not because the last time she did, she almost broke down in tears. She was buying size small and medium panties for her friends and the cashier laughed at her and said,"Uh, I REALLY don't think these are gonna fit you, honey!" Is that not so rude!?!

I saw this lady with a dog at Mc Donalds today. Nobody said anything, but i saw lots of people make faces.
I've seen people take dogs to the bank, home depot (not that bad, but still not allowed) and places where people eat.
I know some people think its ok to take small dogs places, but i would never presume its ok, small dogs or big.
Who agrees with me?
who disagrees?

I dont mean seeing eye dogs, i mean pets.

When you are out at a restaurant, are you not supposed to tip on the wine. I had a nice meal with friends this evening and we had three bottles of wine which cost a total of $150. When we were paying the bill, one of the guys insisted that we need not tip for the wine just on the food. Our total bill was over $700 and we gave a $140 tip, was this enough. should we not have tipped on the wine?

My boss has given me the assignment to put together a work uniform for all employees. He feels it benefits everyone because everyone will match and we will provide the clothes. We will give employees dry-cleaning reimbursement for the uniforms. We will provide these intial and replacement uniforms free of charge.

The only thing though is this is an office in an office complex. We have over 100 employees. Most guys wears button up shirts with or without ties. Usually ties. Most girls wear a nice blouse, skirt, hose, & heels.

What kind of uniform could we put together that meets the needs of both sides?

I was contemplating some type of school uniform type thing. A uniform place near us, Flynn and O'Hara, has these items for purchase. The skirts obviously do not have to be plaid. Could be grey in color.

Help?

(Please do not answer with your opinion about uniforms at the office. This is my bosses decision. I need help with uniform ideas not your opinion on why)
