I am constantly amazed by what passes for acceptable English grammar in our society.
If we would all start expecting appropriate English language and grammar, especially from our children, we would all gain a new level of respect for each other.
That's my pet peeve - that and the horrible spelling and sentence structure of some of the people who post on Answers. I read many questions that I can not answer because the English is so poor that I can not decipher what question is being asked.

1. Unproper English/grammer, if you can't speak properly, do keep you're mouth shut.
2. People who chew gum in public, i think its foul, especially when they let people firmly know they are chewing gum.
3. Horrid table manners.
4. The way some boys wear their pants, with their boxers showing and all, its disgusting, you would not go around showing you're mum you're boxers, why go around showing absolute strangers.
5. My favourite of the bunch, when i'm at the movies and i have to go to the bathroom, and theres children peeking under the damned stall, i tell their mothers actually.
lot's more, but theres only 24 hours in a day.

I have to agree with Tauri Athena. People who can't be bothered to spell correctly show laziness and carelessness that is sure to spill over to other parts of their lives. Anybody can make a typo once in a while, but there is no excuse for repeated poor spelling and grammar. And watch those homophones; spellcheck won't help you there.

In general, things that indicate laziness and lack of consideration for others. This can be anything from failing to flush a public toilet to driving dangerously in traffic.

When people don't replace the paper towel or toilet tissue roll after using the last of it...

people who chew with their mouth open and don't give a crap that those around them find it disgusting and say so... repeatedly for over 20 years.

They appear to hear but they sure don't have a clue what is said.
