There is nothing wrong in being a fan of somebody not in media, but with a good reason. I am a fan of every unknown soldier who is struggling and ready to sacrifice his /her life for our country. A fan of every farm labourer, a coolie, hard working professionals like doctors ,engineers and so on who serve the nation and not just their own interests. But you can't create a website or become a fan of somebody just because you like them and keep on telling them that you are their fan ,it really is very embarassing! Fan refers to one among large number of masses who adore somebody for some special reason. You are fond of some people and there is nothing strange about it. You send them ecards or messages of your appreciation individually and talk to them or interact with them. You don't make somebody a celebrity just because of your individual affection for them. Not only is it perplexing for them but sometimes it may send wrong signals so that they may think you are making fun of them!!

You can really be a fan by doing good things to mankind...And what you're doing now is really good. They just didn't appreciate some of your doings maybe they were not used to of those things you did...But keep on doing that baby!

There is nothing wrong in being a fan of a person. I am a fan of my wife.
We generally are modest among friends, but do want to be appreciated. But adoration can go to someones head, so don't overdo it.
