My next-door neighbor at our apartment had a fight with her roommate and she came over to my place because she wanted someone to talk to, but dshe keeps talking with my roommate and not with me.

She keeps asking him for advice, she's only making eye contact with him, and when she left she told him goodbye but she didn't say a word to me. I was in the room with them when all this happened. She also told my roommate that he can go and keep her company later on tonight.

I don't get it. My roommate and I know this girl equally. I've never been mean to her and I never would be mean to her. But for some reason, she just doesn't want to come to me for help. It sort of hurts my feelings, almost as if she doesn't want to talk to me. I care about her and I feel sorry for her that she had an argument with her roommate.

Stop being a pushover. She's probably interested in someone with confidence. You may be caring, realistic, intuitive, etc. But girls go for confidence over caring.. at least the shallow ones do. Maybe you're not her type. There are other fish in the sea.

Sounds like she has a crush on your roommate. Unfortunately, sometimes when people have romantic feelings, they lose the ability to be considerate of others' feelings. Just let it go.

She likes him better. This is totally subjective and nothing to worry about. There are surely women who like you better than him. It works both ways and it isn't something that can be explained.

She probably wants to sleep with your room mate. She sounds like she was using the fight as an excuse to flirt with your room mate.

Maybe she just feels more comfortable talking to him than you. Im sure there are people in your life that you can easily open up to and others you cant.

And maybe, she just wants to hook up with him.

it sounds like she fancies your roommate and was giving him the come on - hence ignoring you and paying attention solely to HIM
