What is a good way to get people off your back?

You know the feeling when people have just asked or said something to you just a little too many times or at least enough to annoy you? How can you get these people to shut it once and for all without actually asking them to shut it?

Just say I heard you the first time. Why are you repeating yourself? When you speak up and do not let them do this they stop because they do not like it turned around on them.
