I agree with you, to each his/her own and good for everybody! That being said, the store can make it's own policy and you just have to deal with that, but on your own time, you say what you like!

Ever since I learned how to talk I say "Merry Christmas". People at my job acts as if it's tabooded when I first started working there everyone said merry christmas. People are trying to take the Christ out of Christmas. There have been so many religions since the beginning of time, so now all of a sudden it's as if we said a bad curse word. Say what you want I know that I will always say Merry Christmas.

This is starting to get out of control, people are trying to take Christ out of Christmas...
No I don't agree with the whole "Happy Holidays Only" deal. It's stupid and not fair for those who believe in, and celebrate Christmas. We should get to wish anyone a Merry Christmas no matter what.
Everyone else has the 'right' to say "Happy Hannakuh" and "Happy Holidays", why can't we wish others a "Merry Christmas"...?
How is saying that, pushing religion on people?
Let's stand up for what we believe in.
MEEEERRRRRYYYY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!
=)

I like to be wished a Merry Christmas, not happy holidays. I work with a Jewish woman and I wish her a Happy Hanuka and she appreciates it. I can't imagine acknowledging her holidays in any other way. This whole thing is getting out of hand and frankly, I don't know anyone (various religions and beliefs) that doesn't want their traditions and holidays acknowledge for what they really are. Happy holidays should be wished for someone going away, not celebrating a very special occasion

Merry Christmas, in view that's what the holiday is... CHRISTMAS. definite, there is Hannukah in the process an identical "span" of time, and that they contain Thanksgiving and New three hundred and sixty 5 days in this grouping, too. and that they even made up Kwanza as a fashion to not have specific human beings feeling ignored, for some reason. So, the pc crowd needs us to be all-inclusive and say "chuffed trip journeys." yet while one is in my view celebrating Christmas, there could be not something incorrect with wishing somebody a Merry Christmas...basically as there could be not something incorrect with wishing somebody a chuffed Hannukah, etc. Have a Senior day.

I also don't know anyone who says Happy Holidays with ill intent, but I am often given very cold defensive replies when I say it. Some Christians forget that sometimes when someone chooses to say Happy Holidays that it may be because they themselves do not celebrate Christmas and don't want to be hypocrites. Why don't we all just try to remember that holiday wishes, whatever way they are expressed are meant well, and stop making such an issue out of this.

Since there are several holidays celebrated around this time of year ( Christmas, Kwannzaa, Solstice, etc.), I think that a general Happy Holidays is best. Not that saying "Merry Christmas" is wrong, just that "Happy Holidays" covers more territory.

I do agree with you but I also get the point of "Happy Holidays". Saying Happy Holidays includes all so no one can get "offended " by Merry Christmas.
I agree the whole pc thing is going too far. What next Easter cant be called Easter anymore but Spring Holiday............
