A friend of mine who I have been friends with for 3 years, her birth is coming within this month or next-but I don't remember the date. I was thinking of asking a friend of hers, whom I'm acquainted with when her birthday is again, so I can tel her happy birthday. My point is, is it wrong to not know a friend's birthday-that you consider a 'goo friend'?....she has facebook, or had it-but she deleted the thing-so now I don't know when it is. I'll send her a b-day wish via text message.

My co-worker is sick with a cold and doesn't cover her mouth when she coughs; she'll literally just stand there, even in the middle of talking to you, and let it all fly out. How can I tactfully tell her to cover things up? Not only is it entirely gross, but I really don't want to get sick.

I found out this weekend that my 18 year old brother is taking hard drugs. I knew he smoked pot and thought it was just a phase, so didn’t worry about it, especially as I’d be hypocritical, having had my share of the clubbing scene. Although seeing where my brother was this weekend has made me feel so sick I shall never touch another drug again in my life.

However, when I found out he’s smoking skunk most days, and that he’s started taking class A’s too… My heart broke. I found out where he was (he hadn’t been home all night again) and went to get him. The place was disgusting, kicked in walls and grubby sofa… Looked like a crack den, reminded me of trainspotting. I found out also that he’d been trying to drive his car when off his face, when it was off-road and the brakes weren’t working. He had crashed it the week before, doing 80 in a 40 zone.

I panicked and told my family what he’s been doing, including my brother who is a policeman.

I did an exam last year and i am in a rubbish class for losers that aren't good in school. (okay, that's a joke, but w.e).
I'm not ver good at maths and my teacher has been really nice bout it. He singles me out quite a lot but i just thought he was being nice.
but when we did the exam and he gave me back my paper, i realised a lot of the answers had been crossed out and changed. i didn't do this and it was actually quite an important exam, and i know he changed it.
he told me yesterday, "don't tell anyone, i did it because i know you're cleverer then anyone else in this class."

is there any point reporting it? i''d feel guilt and he's being really nice to me!

or should i say **** who came up with a mobile phone which had a speaker on it so chavs could play their sh!tty music at a tinny full volume on the bus? the genius behind this amazes me! what ever happened to earphones - is it so the little darlings don't hurt their ears and so we can all appreciate the wonderful music played so loud it disorts into some tinny thumpy sound with the so irriating frequency as a bluebottle.

I've done this since I can remember (about 5) and am now 17. Not in my own house obviously. I also crouch down (most of the time)

Most people I know just sit down.

I've never had surgery before and I'm going to have surgery on my wrist in two weeks. I assume I will have to take my clothes off and wear a gown, but will they make me take my underwear and sports bra off too? If they say it is optional or if I have to keep my bra on, do they still make you wear a gown?? The way I look at it is if my sports bra is on, then I got nothin' to hide....so I would rather not wear the gown if my sports bra is on...do you think they will allow that?? Most of the time at home I'm in just my sports bra anyway, so for me it's no big deal (if I have my sports bra on). Thanks in advance!

I think that such topics as pornography and Globalization would be of interest--please feel free to express any opinions you may have regarding these topics. If you don't express your opinions, others will EXPRESS THEM FOR YOU! Do you prefer economic imperialism or Islamization--or maybe you like others telling you what to do and how to think!

My name is Christina and it really irritates me when people call me Chris, Chrissy, Tina 'Teen' (for goodness sake!). I know a lot of people don't let it bother them, it's just a personal quirk for me. Does it ever bother you, particularly if the alternative is something really naff.?

I'm a business English teacher in Korea. Preferably, give me something more than Glengarry Glen Ross and Wall Street -- are there any movies out there where all the business people AREN'T total @$$holes, where my Korean company workers can watch business men work/deal together and talk to each other WITHOUT the situation forcing them to throw all their manners out the window?
