Most religions have services or places of worship which you can attend if you follow the rules and behave with respect.
However, before rushing off to check out how things are done elsewhere, why not look into the beliefs and practices of a variety of religions.
One of my favourite websites is this one:
www.religioustolerance.org
where religions from 'Asutra to Zoroastrianism' are discussed, including the basic tenets of the various faiths, the rituals, dogma and everyday usages. There is also a 'forums' section and a section for 'hot topic' issues such as stem cell research, where the views of various religins are described in simple, easy to understand terms.
Whether you decide to move from catholicism on your faith journey, or stay with it, finding out about the beliefs and ideas of others is never a waste of time.
Good luck and best wishes :-)

I also am Catholic, if you're thinking it's not the religion for you, but still want a religion or faith-based group in your life, go to services of other religions. I went to several other faiths' services years ago and found that most are very accepting of any questions you would have or if you'd just like to sit in and observe. Try some out, or speak w/ the ministers of these other faiths and get a feel for something that might fit you better.
Do what you can for yourself, and good luck.

This is a really tricky question, and the answer will be different for each person. Have you heard of the "spiritual quest"? This is a life experience which may take many years, or may never end, during which you seek your truth by mental investigation and possibly also by actual travels.
There have been many well-known spiritual seekers, including some of the saints, as well as adherents of other religions or of no religion. The Australian Broadcasting Corporation has a Religion unit which produces many interesting, high-quality programs on topics surrounding spirituality and religions.
You may be interested in books, TV and radio programs on this topic:

Good luck in your search!

Why not evaluate them based on evidence? For example: Mormons can't produce the golden tablets and none of the races/societies/cultures mentioned in their book have ever been found. Islam's religious sites that Abraham built, touched etc, were never given any significance or even existed before the 3rd century CE. Christianity has no collaborating evidence.
Essentially, you'll find that all religion is man made.

You have to choose what suits you most as a person. What do you want out of religion? Ask yourself this, and choose a religion which best meets your standards.
However, if your confused you probalbly dont need religion. You should probalby just stick with the SMART people who think RATIONALLY and enjoy life just as much without it.
Religion is nothing less than social movement and it is a false-sense of security. History shows that all religions have done their part in destroying the world while science improved it.
Good luck with your search.

Religion is not about preferences; it is about truth. Read the Bible. Although it has been hated and attacked for centuries, it hasn't been proven wrong. Then compare the Word of God with what the Catholic church believes. After that you will have to chose what you want to believe. I pray that God helps you make the right decision.

you could always just go for common sense. Why do you need a religion? no other species on the face of the earth does.

This question is a personal as it gets, no one can tell you what religion is right for you. Study as many as you can find. Read as much as you can. Leave your heart and mind open.

my advice would be for you to look into it. God reaches people a variety of ways. The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit are all different forms of worship. Find which is the best way to be brought to God for you.

Catholicism is the original Christianity. THE ONLY Church Jesus Christ founded.
Where else would you want to be?
