Nope. You could wear shorts, lederhosen, a kilt, mummy wrappings, a ghost costume or a wizards robe.
or even a dress or a skirt, if you want to deal with all the problems that, as a guy, you would have to put up with with.
I, myself, go without clothes as often as I can, legally.

Um, well, no that's not strictly true... but I'm not sure where the etiquette thing falls in here, lol... would it be uncouth, then, to wear a skirt?

Well, let's see, is it also after 10 at night and you are sitting by yourself in front of the computer? Of course not!! That's the great part about being by yourself for a while!! Just be comfortable.

nah, you can wear a kilt or a pair of shorts or a loin cloth. in the usa as long as the dangly bits are covered you would be fine most of the time

not in all places (beach), but it would seem weird if you walk into the mall without pants. wear shorts instead!
