Actually, yes it would!!

Do you know how long people have been looking for you? There have been people out in that bloody loch with cameras and sonars and all sorts and I bet you've been behind a rock or something sniggering away.

Do the decent thing. Just stick your head up for a bit, they'll all love it. And you'll boost Scotland's tourism no end.

I think you should dress up as something else and really throw a spanner in the works. Perhaps get one of your friends to dress up as you, really confuse people. People see Nessy in the Serpentine lake in Hyde park and another monster is house watching the Loch while you have a city break in London

Well It would be a risk. I think that although many people have waited to see you for such a long time, and it seems a shame to disappoint them. It would also be a risk to you. They would catch you and do all sorts of experimentation on you.

In this situation the polite thing to do would be to send a formal letter advising people of your existence. And then hide for another 5 thousand years.

I'd like it if you came down to the Thames.

Apparently, there's a fissure at the bottom of Loch Ness and you can travel through this crack to get to the open ocean. After you reach the channel, wait for the tide to come in and then travel up the Thames. I'll be sitting outside of Westminster waiting.........
