Go to the manager, explain your cause (what its for) and what you will be doing (the car wash). Try to let them know minor details such as how long it will be...and anything you think is important

Ask the Store's Manager about it.

I own a couple of businesses and I would love it if someone with a decent cause would come and ask me if they could hold a car wash at my business. It would help me generate more traffic to the store. I think it's easier to find a business that stands by itself rather than something in a shopping center. In a shopping center, you'd have to find out who the landlord is. Find something with a space in the front of the store, facing the street.

Yes you have to speak to a manager. Bring them some information about your organization and what you are trying to raise money for. I would try to set one up with a manager at least a month in advance.

well a store's parking space is reserved for customers and no store has spent a lot of their money on the lot and construction cost for you to go and wash your car there, i dont think it is a good idea better find another place

Ask the manager or the owner. The best places for it are auto zones and gas stations.
